Certified by Ohio Department of Aging to provide services under the assisted living program. Currently accepting individuals enrolled in assisted living program. Purpose Statement - Heritage Corner Assisted Living provides both Basic Assisted Living services and Memory Care services. These services differ in that the Memory Care program provides an enhanced staffing ratio, an enhanced number of therapeutic, social or recreational activities, safe access to outdoor space, enhanced staff training and enhanced call light responsiveness.

FEB 2016 - Beautiful home. Had a couple awesome nurses and aids. But a lot of fake smiles (from owner too) and talking. Mom left in her room for after asking to go to exercise would forget about her (this happened more than once) It was so sad to see the disappointment on her face.. .Make sure you put a camera in room so that you can watch your family member too. We lost mom in in less than a year after putting her in there. Wish camera was put in from day one not just the last month and a half. Big disappointment in care and management. I'm the one that needed to tell the nurse she needed taken to hospital the last time she was there they were waiting for a NP to come in and do her rounds. Mom needed to be put on vent/bipap when taken to hospital. I would definitely check out other places.

Short and sweet: The worst facility I have ever dealt with. I'm an advanced practice nurse with almost 10 years of clinical experience, and I have NEVER EVER dealt with such an incompetent facility. My Dad came there for a rehab stay and the facility never told us any information about his discharge date until they told us one afternoon his insurance was denying him staying any further. My Dad had 10 fractured vertebrae and could not do a whole lot himself, and this supposed "rehab facility" gave us ZERO advance notice of any discharge date. So my Dad had to be discharged without occupational therapy making any home visits prior to his discharge, my Mom had to scramble to contact my Dad's cancer doctors to get prescriptions ordered to take home, we had to urgently find a medical device company to deliver a lift chair last minute since that was the only device my Dad could rest or sleep in, and on and on. Then, when I called to complain about the lack of planning, some administrator named Kelly spoke over me for several minutes, and then when I became frustrated, she HUNG UP on me!!! I called back, and she HUNG UP again!!! I've never seen such a poorly run facility, with jerks for staff members, and a complete lack of empathy. Another example, one night my Dad asked for his pillow readjusted and the Nurse said that's not my job, and left the room. DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS HERE!!!!

The people are good just the facility and companies crappy. Have to make several phone calls constantly for paperwork that should have been filed weeks ago and then they argue with me when other companies need the release form so I can move forward with healthcare

“Cute and quaint” There is so much history to Columbus that we never new about. After visiting Heritage Corner, we understood so much more. It provides a great summation of Columbus, the dams, agriculture, and how the city developed through time. Great place for kids to learn.
