My mom moved to the community in 2019. The maintenance crew and housekeeping staff have always done a wonderful job. We love all the extra care that all of the bistro staff give as well . They really make the residents feel special. The transportation crew is always so kind and helpful which is a great benefit. Avery and Jennifer have always been very attentive when they moved to this location, and we appreciate them as well . We love the location because it’s convenient to everywhere we need to go .

My parents have been at this facility for 4+ years. We recently had to move my father to Assisted Living which was a tough decision. Management and the staff have been super helpful and attentive to my parent's needs. Everyone was amazing! Special shout out to Avery and Alie for the tenderness and caring through all of this. I know my folks are at the right place at this point in their lives. A great big THANK YOU for everyone at Discovery Village! I would highly recommend this facility for anyone having to make a decision for your elderly parent.

My Dad has been at this facility for three years and the service has declined significantly. There is no attention to detail and staff is not trained. We have had housekeeping issues to include beds made with no sheets and last week my Dad's clothes were ruined when staff washed and dried them with an ink pen. Other times clothes are returned with a sour smell as if they were left in the washer too long. Even more recently we were provided a flyer for the Christmas party with the wrong date/time, so we and other residents and family members missed the event. Complaints are met with excuses and rarely acceptance of responsibility.

Giving praise to the Marketing Director, Avery. She has been so helpful and supportive with a patient i helped transfer from another State to the AL facility. I continue to see her going the extra mile for this new resident and current residents of Discovery Village Stone Oak. I have been a professional caregiver and CNA for 14 years and she rates very highly and professional in my opinion. I will definitely recommend Avery to anyone who is looking for a place to call home for their loved one’s. Keep up the awesome work. Greg H., CNA , PCG
