We cannot express enough gratitude to the entire team at Fountain Park for the exceptional care they provided to our father. From the moment we met with Joni and Angel until he moved in, we were treated with the utmost respect and kindness. The accommodations were wonderful! We especially appreciated the amazing staff that took care of Dad, with dignity and respect during his time there. Knowing he was in such professional and compassionate hands gave our family immense peace of mind. Thank you for going the extra mile every single day!

Had a great experience. Even when faced with end of life decisions, the staff was compassionate and caring to everyone. Our loved one passed away while staff was putting lotion on her hands and doing her nails. You can’t ask for a better group of individuals. The room was large enough for a full size bed, armoire, couple chairs and side table. Our experience came from the memory care unit. Even there the food was tasty and they had daily activities for folks. We would definitely use them again.

Fountain Park is honestly like family to us. Moving your loved one into an assisted living is a stressful decision for any family to make. I moved my parents from out of state to be closer to my husband and I. They gave up their home, their doctors, their friends to get the care they needed. The transition was much smoother than we expected. From the beginning, the staff was warm, welcoming, understanding. The residents we spoke to seemed so happy. The one gentleman said it was a decision that he wished happened sooner because his quality of life changed for the better when he moved to Fountain Park. Since living there, my mother has gotten involved in so many cool activities, she joined the choir, she goes and exercises, she’s gone on bus trips to look at Christmas lights, she might even run to be a part of their council. She’s 87 and never had these opportunities when she sat at home. My father even plays games occasionally, talks about his buddies, and even tried to paint butterflies during a wine and canvas type activity. Back at home, they rarely did anything. It’s so nice for me to know they are safe, fed and have their own beautiful apartment. There is someone there 24/7, so I can sleep at night again, without worry. Also, forgive my honesty, but many facilities like this are so cold and institutional and smell…well…not good. When we walked in to FP, it was warm, beautifully decorated, and smelled gooooood. I was very impressed and relieved by that. It almost felt like a nice hotel instead of an assisted living. And lastly, (I know I’m rambling) but when I attended the Christmas concert they had (it was the choir and bell choir) the residents performing were great, but it was the large crowd of family and friends that came to watch that I was so warmed by. These residents aren’t just elderly ppl stuck there to live out their days. They are people that are loved by their families that, like my parents, made the decision along with their families to reside here during this phase of their lives because living alone was no longer the safe, wise option. FP was not a downgrade or punishment for getting old…it was another opportunity to live with dignity and care and safe opportunities to continue to grow and thrive. I hope this review helps you and your family make the tough decision when the time comes. I wanted to explain 4 stars. I believe most businesses have room to grow, so don’t be discouraged by 4 stars. If I had to pick anything to improve on at this facility, it would be the laundry. That is a complaint I sometimes hear from my mom. She was always amazing at laundry and she is the best at folding to perfection, so her standards are very high. It’s not surprising that sometimes she isn’t happy with how her laundry comes back. Also, she doesn’t love ALL the meals…but who could? Not to mention, I take her out to eat regularly enough that she gets the treats she’s missing. 😉. And to clarify, I don’t know anybody that doesn’t think these types of facilities cost too much. Trust me- we were shocked initially, but you have to consider everything that is included-apartment, utilities, meals, laundry, housekeeping, and most of all-peace of mind. That alone makes it valuable.
