One star is too much to give for the following reasons 1. The water takes 30 minutes to get hot enough to shower. 2 The food is good 4 or 5 meals a week. My grocery bill is 85 to 125 dollars a month. There are folks 7 to 8 months behind on their rent. I know it for a fact because this one lady told me that she was behind 7 months. People smoke in their rooms which violates city code and fire codes. No more payments until someone gets the intestinal fortitude to change things in this facility. Always a problem daily. Never solved. Cheap rent but terrible amenities. Website....50 % is false advertising. And there are multiple complaints about bed bug infestation. Bed bugs can destroy your possessions and need frequent monitoring by the owners to insure that these pests are controlled

My dad lived here and we had to get him out of there before the lease was up because they had bed bugs. There were also security concerns as people walked into my dad’s apartment multiple times without warning or notice. You could literally use a card to open the door. We also signed the lease when they served 3 meals per day and then all of a sudden changed it to 2. Not sure if this has changed since management and staff changed. All in all, they sold us a dream and under delivered.

The best place for your loved one. They offer 2 meals 7 days a week all holidays in a dinning room setting served by servers who show their love and concerns. ALL the employees show love and concern as well as treat them as family. Charmaine is an angel and you can see the love she has for each and everyone. She was so helpful to our family and such a source of information. The tenants look happy act happy and are very friendly. They are very welcoming and most have been long term tenants if Emerson. Even family members of tenants are friendly and offer help. They have security cords in bedroom and bathroom as well as a pendant for them to wear, housekeeping, trash service, utilities are included. They offer rides to shopping centers, banks, and doctor appointments, movie nights in a in house movie theater, plenty of community activities and events to do. This is 5 star place for your parents and or yourself!

My mom has been here 6 years. The staff has turned over several times, the ownership twice. The new owners put in new windows and painted, but don't want to buy decent food. The entire living experience has gone from 5 star to barely 3. Elderly people need fruit and vegetables not potatoes and rice or noodles. The staff that are there are wonderful I must say we couldn't ask for better, they earned the stars. Movie nights, sing alongs and parties are really fun and inclusive.
