Discovery Village Trinity

Having explored numerous independent living facilities, we're now delighted to call Discovery Village Trinity home. The staff here are exceptionally accommodating and friendly, and we've been warmly welcomed by the residents, who all seem to genuinely love living here. The food is truly spectacular, and there's a wonderful array of activities to enjoy. We are very happy here. Melissa was our contact person and she did an outstanding job introducing us to Discovery Village and since we were in our soon to be sold home in GA she made a wonderful video showing us around our unit. Discovery Village of Trinity is an upscale active community for seniors. My mom is 83 and decided it may be time to move closer to me. I found Discovery Village during an internet search and asked for information. Within a day I received a call from Melissa and she made time for me to come see the model apartment. She was very knowledgeable and compassionate to my mom’s needs. Through the entire process prior to my mom moving in she was available for anything, answering questions, taking videos, walking my mom through filling out the forms. The move in day was seamless. Her first official night she spent there they sent her up a tray of sandwiches and cookies. I have had a couple of meals with her and the food is amazing. She has been in her new home for six days and her neighbors have invited her to dinner so she doesn’t eat alone. The grab and go coffee and snacks are available. Top notch on everything. She is still adjusting to the change but EVERYONE at Discovery Village at Trinity is top notch. 💕🥰

My Mom became a resident in the Assisted Living Facility in January. It's early days but so far we're impressed. Good staff to resident ratio, the facility is well run and clean, doctors/physical therapists/etc. are available in-house or they have a shuttle to run residents to their own doctors appointments. Folks seem responsive, each resident has a call button they can use for any help they need and response time is is good. Most importantly the residents seem to have endless activities and opportunities to socialize together - beside meals in the dining area there are 7-8 *daily* activities (bingo, trivia, movies, music) they can participate in. Staff and residents are friendly and welcoming and Mom fit right in. We visited a number of other places before selecting Discovery Village Trinity and they pale in comparison. Check it out.

Discovery Village Independent Living Facility is a wonderful place to live for a number of reasons.  I have lived here for a little better than a year and have never regretted it in the least. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with smiles from the residents, as well as the staff. The ambiance is that of a beautifully decorated resort, the services are similar, and the vibe is very positive. I was captivated by the possibilities I could enjoy. A beautiful common area includes a concierge station, lovely sitting area leading around to a small cafe style stocked with refreshments for breakfast, lunch, or snacks.  The mail room sufficiently serves incoming and outgoing mail needs. A table/game area complete with room for happy hour and dancing, a bar staffed sufficiently, and a beautiful baby grand piano caught my eye. The dining area is second to no other.  The chef prepares delicious dinners; and being seated as in many tasteful restaurants, at tables complete with cloth coverings and napkins makes me feel special. The servers are friendly, and efficient, and I feel they care. As I look out the windows I see the large pool, designed especially for the safety of an aging population. It is complete with ramps and bars, etc, and the deck is furnished nicely for sun bathing or relaxing in the shade. The apartments offered are of varying designs, with focus on comfort and safety. I chose the two bedroom, two bath, full kitchen, laundry room and den. Studios, one, and three bedrooms were possibilities, as well. I enjoy that housekeeping services are provided, but not required. Additionally, the facility is complete with a library, exercise room, a theater, multi-purpose arts/a crafts/choir/exercise meeting room. I love the many options! Discovery Village Independent Living staff keeps us posted with any concerns or issues, as well as addressing any immediate needs.  I feel safe and happy. For me , it was peace of mind and relief from home maintenance after my spouse passed that I was searching for and Discovery Village Independent Living provides that.
