Outstanding care, homey atmosphere, attentive, kind staff. We are visiting a family member here on family dinner night. Every staff member has been accommodating and helpful to us and our family member. The facility is lovely with a nice dining room/ snack area always set up with beverages and a variety of snacks for residents. The extensive schedule of daytime activities has really helped our family member settle in and thrive, including, music and games. She has made a number of friends in a short time. The food was delicious corned beef and cabbage with potatoes and carrots. Homemade biscuits and shamrock sugar cookies for desert. Everyone had seconds! We loved sitting on the lanai and enjoying the fresh air. Kirby , the therapy dog is a popular visitor. There are too many great things to list. This facility exceeds all expectations!! A happy place!

Discovery Commons is a wonderful place. Love the cozy atmosphere. The Executive Director, Stephanie, Wellness Director, Liz along with the other staff wholeheartedly care about their residents. Staff goes the extra mile. Activities, dining, along with special family events are a lot of fun. Residents and families are very happy there. I would highly recommend this lovely community.

As a member of the senior care industry, it is important to “speak to what we experience”. I recently toured and was impressed by the “homey” feel to the two houses. I say houses because they don’t feel institutional. The grounds are natural and not forced nature with an open courtyard in the rear of the Memory Care house. I enjoyed my tour and time with Stephanie (ED). My suggestion: check them out as each community has to feel like the right fit for your loved one and not our own preferences.

I was a former PCP that saw patients at this facility. I can attest that the staff actually care and will treat your loved one with respect and dignity. Stephanie the ED will ensure your family members are well taken care of and will do it with a smile. I have worked in so many facilities that may look fancy on the surface but the care from staff is abysmal. Discovery commons is truly above and beyond most. I highly recommend a tour to see for yourself!
