Although I didn’t have any family members living at Dale Commons, I worked with them through an outside agency and we shared several mutual residents. Through that experience, I got to see firsthand how the staff treats the people in their care. The team was always kind, responsive, and truly seemed to care about the residents’ well-being. Anytime we needed to coordinate care or communicate about a resident, they were helpful and easy to work with. It was clear they were committed to making sure residents felt safe, comfortable, and supported. The environment at Dale is warm and inviting. I often saw residents enjoying activities and spending time together. It feels like a place where people are not just looked after, but genuinely cared for. From a professional standpoint, I’ve been impressed and feel confident recommending this community to anyone looking for a quality assisted living.

We were told that Dale Commons, Modesto could provide assistant living up to one's passing. The problem is they assisted my mom to what i believe passing quicker. Several times they delivered food to her room and did not make it accessible for her to reach it. The food would be placed on the kitchen counter and left there. Many times no one would place the food on the tray(which I bought) near her bed or help her out of bed to eat. Visibly she showed weight loss. Furthermore she was left in bed for hours and in soiled briefs. I had to tell them I wanted her changed and dressed and brought down to eat breakfast by a certain time everyday. Due to her lying in bed constantly and having soiled briefs she developed bed sores. Her hair was not washed regularly. Quite often her hair looked and felt oily. My poor mom had to go to the hospital and eventually to a nursing home where she passed. All this happened over a 2 month period.
