Country Meadows of West Shore

My parents found a supportive environment here in Independent Living. When my mother needed more care, she easily transitioned to personal care and in-house hospice care. These compassionate workers took care of mom and looked after dad as he remained around the corner in independent living. My father attended the in house grief support group and has built in fellowship (pool, book club, evening chat, exercise, walking path) during this new chapter in his life. Our family has “peace of mind” knowing he has a safe home! I am thankful for Kerri the director of nursing who helped us make decisions along with Julia the director of independent living who makes sure that dad is engaged and well! And Amber at the front desk is such a resource! The dietary and cleaning staff are also involved in his life! We are thankful for the amazing aids in personal care (I wish I could name them!) who kept my mother comfortable and went above and beyond to individualize her care. Country Meadows has become a partnership with our family.

I was quite cautious when choosing country meadows for my loved one who had suffered from dementia. Every experience that I have had with country meadows was fantastic. Since entering this facility, she has always been treated kindly, given personal attention, and has become a healthy and happy person once again. I thank you deeply for the loving care you all have shown towards her despite her challenging health situation.

We just recently moved my grandmother into assisted living at country meadows and I am blown away at every single staff member I’ve encountered. Angela was so helpful and attentive. She answered any and every question and helped secure a room for my grandmother. Beth Ann was so sweet and kept my grandmother busy while we moved her in. Hoda was so helpful in figuring out the nitty gritty details of moving in. Nurse Bri was SO helpful when I came to her about a medication being wrong from her old PCP. Kara Potts (CRNP) gave my grandmother more attention and priority than her original PCP ever did. When I spoke with one of my grandmothers outside specialists and there was a change, I emailed Kara and got a response in ten minutes. A week after moving my grandmother into assisted, I saw one of the PCA’s in the parking lot and she greeted me and said “your nans door is open!” How she remembered me and who my nan was after seeing me one time DAYS ago is beyond me. This staff CARES. The person in charge of planning events was also so sweet. She spent time with my grandmother and helped her set up some technology things in her room. My grandmothers biggest praise - the food. She says it’s SO good! I feel great about my grandmother being here. Highly blown away with this staff.

My Mother has lived at Country Meadows for over seven years. The management and staff really care about the residents here. When my Mother needed to move from Independent Living to Personal Care, they answered our questions well and helped with the move. I am very please this is where my Mother is living.
