Country Meadows of Leader Heights

Before I wrote this review, I read past reviews to see how those experiences aligned with mine. I know how I feel about the high level of compassion, communication and attention to detail, Garrett the Director of Sales and Marketing showed me when I was searching for a community for my Mom; the caring, dedicated, stick-to-itiveness, Riley, the Independent Living Manager demonstrated as she oriented my Mom to the community; and the rapid response, communication and empathy Cheyenne, one of their many amazing nurses exhibited when my Mom was having a particularly emotional day. But ultimately, I wanted to know whether my feelings and experiences were isolated or consistent with the larger cohort of families who trusted Country Meadows of Leader Heights (CMLH) with the ultimate responsibility of caring for their loved ones. What I found, and to save you the time of reading multiple reviews, is even better than I expected. The vast majority of families not only had wonderful things to say but took the time to elaborate on why they felt the way they did. They shared details that painted a picture similar to mine, but across all their levels of care. We all have different expectations of what we want senior living to look like for our loved ones, but our loved ones have very specific, individualized needs. The reviews supported the fact that it did not matter if a person is independent living or requires the services of a memory support neighborhood; the level of care and attention each one received exceeded their expectation. My Mom took me out to lunch this past Saturday and during the meal she looked at me and said “thank you for moving me to CMLH. I do not think you could have done any better.” If you are searching for long-term care community for yourself, a friend or family member, please give Garrett a call. It might be the best call you have ever made.

Moving a parent into a senior living community is never an easy decision, but choosing Country Meadows of Leader Heights has been the absolute best choice for my mother. From the moment she moved in, the entire staff went above and beyond to make her feel welcomed, safe, and truly at home. The peace of mind our family feels knowing she is in such a supportive environment is invaluable. Her quality of life has improved so much, and she is genuinely happy here. I cannot recommend this wonderful community on Pine Grove/Leaders Heights Road enough to any family navigating this transition.

Country Meadows has brought vibrance and joy back to our family member. She has made new friends, had new experiences, and has been cared for like a member of the family. The time and energy put in by Country Meadows staff and administration to enrich the lives of the residents is unprecedented. We could not be happier with our choice of Country Meadows of Leaders Heights Independent Living!

My wife and I randomly stopped in on a Sunday afternoon knowing that my Amon was eventually moving up this way. We met with Garrett who gave us a tour and answered our questions. The first thing that jumped out at me was the residents and employees were friendly and seemed genuinely happy. We spoke with many of them during the tour as well. The place looked very nice. It was clean and spacious too. We were shown a couple of the different available apartment styles as well. We were very impressed. We brought my mom to see it a few weeks later and she was equally impressed and got on the wait list. A few months later we moved mom in. She is very happy there. It’s family run, and it shows. It does not have a corporate feel to it at all. Garrett was a big selling point for us, too. He was amazingly helpful throughout the whole process. Riley, who manages the independent living, has also been a huge help. We highly recommend County Meadows - South.
