Holiday Copley Place in Copley Ohio is NOT a place I would recommend for your loved ones. The food is terrible, many go hungry. They are paying for food they can't eat and when they complain, they are basically told "this is an independent living facility, you will eat what we give you or nothing." The residents are not treated in a manner in which says they are important. The organization takes their money, but cares not for any of them, because they are trying to live independently. They have just recently had a meeting with the new management to go over complaints about the food, billing and other items. All the residents were informed that it is an independent living facility and as such nothing has to be done to accommodate them in any way, and yet they are paying thousands a month for certain amenities. >$2k a month for people living on a fixed income should at least pay to get a decent meal, help with problems in the apartments, repairs in a timely manner**, management that cares about their concerns and correct billing procedures. **The only elevator in the building went down recently and it took more than a week to repair. People on the 2nd and 3rd floors would have had no way out if there had been a fire and with the majority having mobility issues and no way to use the stairs. Don't let the good reviews fool you, the first couple weeks you are there they treat you well and it is all downhill from there.

I have lived here for 15 months, and have had the delight to know Tim Godfrey, who has been a great help to myself concerning a number of problems I've had. He is a great representative for your organization [ great social skills ].He and other staff members here at Copley have made my stay here a wonderful experience.

Copley Place is a very nice senior apartment building. The staff is attentive and dedicated. The residents tend to be older. All apartments are large and well equipped. It is a good value for the money.
