Conservatory At Keller Town Center

I have been a resident at the Conservatory for 4 years.The staff and the employees are professional, patient and always friendly. I don’t know how they manage to keep such a high level of courtesy towards the residents. Keep up the great work Conservatory staff and employees. Having been a manager before I retired i recognize great leadership when I see it. Our population is diverse and needs excellent staff and employee skills. Thanks for being their for us.

My mother passed away in February 2025, with the Conservatory at Keller having been her home since August 2020. She moved in after she became widowed. The transition from married life to independent living was initially a shock for her. But, she quickly made friends and was embraced by the community family. My wife and I were also welcomed by the staff and residents. Mom loved it there, and told me many times that she considered it an honor to have been able to spend her remaining years in a place that she could call home. The Conservatory is beautiful, located in one of the best locations in Keller, and has very kind and attentive staff. It is a classy place. When researching options, the service offerings appeared to be at a higher level than those of the other independent living communities that we had explored. Because of this, my mother was able to remain in place as she aged, instead of being transferred to a much higher priced assisted living facility. She had a really good life while at the Conservatory. My family could not have asked for more.

Having a parent who has lived at this location for more than a decade, it is sad that under the ownership of Discovery Group, the care of the residents has gone down - food, activities, building, safety. The building is not properly maintained - specifically the LONE elevator in building one. It is CHRONICALLY "out of service" for days at a time, forcing elderly residents to use the stairs, often putting them in dangerous situations. While local management seems to care, the corporate heads do not respond with plans to add an elevator for safety reasons. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for an independent living choice for yourself or your loved ones. Since Discovery took over, The Conservatory is no longer "the place to be." Very disappointing.

The Conservatory has been a great place for my elderly mother. They offer so many fun things for her to choose from and are always friendly and helpful. So glad we were able to find such a great place for her!
