We were disappointed in my sisters care both at lunch time and in her room. During lunch there was a great deal of time when no one was there to help her or others with their food or refills of drinks. When we went to her room there were tissues all over the floor, her trash can was full and her toilet was dirty. The drawers where she keeps her pads and pullups were empty. Hopefully these issues can be addressed and improved upon.

This is a beautiful setting and a very professional and dedicated staff. The entire staff is friendly, helpful and engaged with the clients. The facility is absolutely wonderful and I cannot say enough good things about Commonwealth. My wife and I will retire here if they will have us!

Beautiful, clean environment. I love the bright open spaces. It is beautifully decorated and a lovely atmosphere. So thankful my family member is there. I would give the environment and facility a FIVE STAR rating. My only frustration is communication regarding medical status. As the POA/responsible health care agent for a resident (family member) who cannot advocate or speak for themselves, it is CRITICAL that there is ongoing communication with me. I have asked to be present when the PA examines my family member, without response. The PA who provides medical coverage is almost impossible to reach. In-house nursing and the director are currently working toward resolution. I would give medical communication and family education, THREE STAR. Again - otherwise, it is a beautiful place and I would recommend it. Two days ago I tried calling the facility with a question. For over an hour, there was no answer from the front desk. They were assisting with a facility task. I would highly recommend they provide front desk staff with either a cell phone or transfer calls. Doesn’t seem wise to not have anyone available for over an hour. I visited on 12-17-24. My family member has Alzheimer's. I am the health care agent/POA, etc. When the medicine aide came and gave him a pill in a cup, I asked her what it was. She responded 'medicine.' I responded that I knew that, but what was it. She said it started with a 'B', but couldn't remember the name. I told her I was his health care agent and would be asking questions. Perhaps some training in family communications would be helpful?

Check in was easy . Lady there very friendly. She escorted me to memory care. Staff in there knew my friends spouse and were very friendly. Atmosphere relaxed, cozy. Friend' s room was clean and tidy. Enjoyed looking around and walking the halls and group family living areas.
