After three exhausting years navigating dementia care and multiple placements, we finally found a true home for our mom at Cogir of Peoria. What makes this community special is the people. Vonda was incredible from the start, educating us, advocating for us, and truly caring through every step of a very emotional process. Rhonda, the Head of Nursing, consistently goes above and beyond with hands-on involvement and genuine concern. Netsanet med tech, is simply the best🙏 patient, compassionate, and always willing to take extra time to make sure my mom feels safe and comfortable. Michael and Mark do a wonderful job with activities and somehow manage to get my mom to participate, which is not easy. The front desk team is warm and welcoming we love seeing the mascot greeting us when we come. Cogir is lucky to have such an outstanding staff. For the first time in years, we feel real peace knowing our mom is in the right place.

My mother Carole is a resident at Cogir Peoria and has settled in nicely. The staff is very comforting to her especially Michael. Michael is fantastic and so caring, giving, creative in all their activities and honestly he was the reason we chose this home care facility. There were others there too but the management changed so they are gone, but Michael goes above and beyond to care for our mom and the other residents. Thank you Michael and the other caregivers...Dora, Tita, Verl, Nettie for all you do for our mom. 😊

Dannis is truly a blessing to Cogir. You can tell how much he really cares for all of the residents here by knowing all of there names and being open to any of their requests. But not only that he wants to make sure that his residents are safe and taken care of!

My husband, a resident at this memory care facility, celebrated his 88th birthday recently. Thanks to the entire staff and especially to Chef Alex, my family and I enjoyed a perfect family luncheon in one of the private dining rooms at Cogir. Chef Alex went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We were treated with warmth and graciousness. A big thank you to Cogir.
