With assisted living, our highly trained staff will handle things like the housework, cleaning, and coordination with healthcare providers. This gives you more time to take a stroll with the walking club, play bingo or unwind at popcorn and movie night. We’ll also help out with dressing, bathing and transportation. And while you’re off enjoying yourself, you can take comfort in knowing that our staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency.
As a resident, you’ll choose your apartment from a variety of floor plans. Each comes with large sunny windows, a spacious living area, walk-in closets and a private bathroom. We also have units with kitchens included. You’ll love selecting a book from the shelves of our library and relaxing in front of the grand stone fireplace, meeting friends for dinner in our spacious and comfortable dining room or strolling through the winding courtyard paths beneath a canopy of green leaves.
Additional amenities include a private dining room, postal services and a cozy outdoor porch. We’re pet-friendly as well, so your four-legged friends can join you in our community. And our action-packed events calendar has something for everyone, whether it’s trying your hand at Wii bowling, playing some brain-boosting games, mingling at happy hour or attending a weekly devotional service.

My mother recently moved to inspirations of Peoria. It has been such a wonderful transition for her. The staff are one of the most caring and attentive staff. I have seen while touring many facilities to help find the best fit for my mom. There are wonderful activities, wonderful people, and it’s so comforting to know that my mom is in good hands. So grateful! 10 out of 10 would recommend to other families.

Though my mother was only here for about 5 months, she was extremely well taken care of. The employees here wear several hats all of which are focused around providing genuine care and support to the residents. I saw this first hand when I would visit and as I stayed with Mom during her last week. I don't know how they do what they do but they are sincere and respectful. Thank you all so much for taking such great care of Joan.

We were searching for an assisted living facility for my sister and visited several in the area. After meeting the staff and speaking with the residents, we ultimately chose Brookdale Peoria-and we couldn't be happier with our decision. Colleen and Collin were absolute gems-compassionate, attentive, and deeply committed to understanding and supporting my sister's needs. They made what could have been a difficult process feel thoughtful and reassuring. We also had the pleasure of working with Monica, the RN, who is not only knowledgeable and full of energy, but also impressively perceptive. She quickly understood what kind of care my sister required. Her insight gave us tremendous peace of mind. Jamie, who masterfully schedules the daily activities, brings vibrancy into the fold. Everyday offers something engaging-whether it a B-fit class, balloon badminton or a friendly game of dominoes. She organizes the weekly outings to places like Hobby Lobby, Dollar Tree or bowling. And the special events, Hawaiian Day, Tie-Dyed Day, and Family Day-show just how much creativity and care she pours into making life fun and meaningful for the residents. A big kudos as well to the chef, whose well thought out menus and commitment to timely meals have not gone unnoticed. Of course there is a learning curve that every family will experience when transitioning a loved one into a facility. But our hopes rested on one thing: that my sister would be happy. And when we saw her, smiling in her adorable little apartment, she told us she felt safe and comfortable. That moment meant everything! Brookdale Peoria isn't just a facility-it's a community. And we are so grateful my sister is part of it.

Respectful, caring and compassionate are the words that I would use to describe the staff at Brookdale Peoria. The care that my mother has received in this facility is excellent. Administration, nursing staff and support staff are readily available to meet the needs of the residents and to answer any questions. The facility is clean and inviting. Further, Brookdale Peoria offers many activities for its residents. I would highly recommend this facility.
