The Clare offers new residents more than a beautiful home in our elegant high-rise setting, filled with a whole host of activities, events and amenities for you to enjoy. We are a LifeCare community, which means that should the need ever arise, you are entitled to unlimited lifetime access to the level of high-quality health care needed on site. All care is provided at The Terraces at The Clare, which includes assisted living, memory support, rehabilitation, and skilled nursing services.

Having lived at the Clare for almost 10 years, I can unequivocally say thar joining this community was one of the wisest decisions we ever made. The residents, staff, programming and facilities are superb. One can chose to participate in a wide variety of activities, enjoy meaningful friendships, while living independently; always with the comfort of realizing that a wide variety of care is available if needed. The location can't be beat for those who wish to take advantage of all that Chicago has to offer artistically and culturally, Transportation at no cost is available throughout the downtown and local area. One last thing to note is that our food service is outstanding!!

Independent living at "The Clare" in Chicago showcases a life thriving with downtown city amenities. It is senior living at its finest. Its exceptional dining also provides food for the soul. A place to meet new friends that are all taking this adventure in life together. The staff, security, and health services insure a top priority in comfort and welfare. Everyone greets each day with breakfast and a smile.

The moment I arrived at The Clare, I was greeted with genuine warmth and enthusiasm and at 2 a.m., no less. Meeting the night‑shift team at that hour and feeling instantly welcomed was astonishing in the best possible way. They offered to help with my bags, guided me to my room, and made me feel at home from the very first interaction. They didn’t stop there. They took the time to ensure I understood the property, my stay, and everything I might need. The next day, the service continued seamlessly as they arranged my valet parking and checked in to make sure everything was going well. I’ve stayed at many five‑star hotels in my travels, but if I were to rank this experience, it would easily be a 6 out of 5 stars. Thank you for making me feel welcome, safe, and most importantly like a valued member of the family. Warm regards, and sincere appreciation for this next‑level service.

I cannot say enough good things about The Clare! My mother-in-law recently stayed at the rehab facilities for about a month after an illness landed her in the hospital. The Clare not only helped her regain her strength but her confidence as well. The entire staff, from the nurses, the therapists and even the hair salon owner, were beyond caring and compassionate. There were daily activities, like visits from therapy dogs, that kept my mother-in-law entertained as well. The facility was always clean, and I was told the food was delicious. While she was there, I slept easy every night knowing she was in good hands. If your loved one ever needs help getting back on their feet, I cannot recommend The Clare enough!
