Ciel Senior Living- Less than 1 star if I could- no stars at all. My loved one was left full of feces and urine soaked adult briefs constantly. Staff refuse to to their job- lazy and could care less about the residents. Laundry never done- the facility smells. There is no one in charge and the staff are disrespectful- fight and argue with each other- sleep on 3rd shift. Do not put your family member here at any cost.

Head of sales confirmed they had a respite care room immediately available for my father in law. We provided all personal information and medical releases and then their sales person simply disappeared even though he knew we had an urgent need. We then got directed to nursing. Neither sales or nursing had the courtesy to make a single return a call in four days? Looks like we dodged a bullet considering HarborChase as a possible living solution for our senior family member. I guess it was a blessing in disguise.

I would definitely recommend Harbor Chase. The nursing staff and caregivers are outstanding. The care they provide is phenomenal. They work as a team. And I was taught there is NO I in the word TEAM. The front office staff is as professional, passionate and caring as any I have experienced and worked with. The care and compassion taking care of the individual residents and the family members cannot be taught it is within those individuals that work there . I will continue to recommend Harbor Chase to anyone who needs loved ones taken care of.

The only reason I am giving 1 star is the Director of Resident Care, Tim, RN. He truly tries to provide good care but has a challenge with some of his care staff. Examples of issues with the care staff include, taking away Dad's call light during the night, getting him out of bed at night and putting him out in his living room in his underwear and leaving him there until Dad called my brother at 4:30am to tell him what was going on, and rarely providing the incontinence care that was needed during the night. The Executive Director, Brandon, is very unprofessional and dishonest. Care we had requested and were told would be provided, simply was not. Despite service plan reviews, supposedly to happen after both 30 and 60 days of residency, Dad's plan was reviewed by administration once in 2-1/2 months. After the 60 plus day review, we received no final feedback from Brandon after we addressed multiple concerns, so moved Dad to another facility. We gave the required 30 day notice but moved my father out ASAP. We returned after only 2 weeks, to finish moving Dad's belongings only to find the apartment emptied and being cleaned by housekeeping. Brandon stated he told both maintenance and housekeeping the incorrect apartment to clean out, stating it should have been the resident across the hall. That resident was not moving and is currently still living there. Brandon stated we would be reimbursed for items taken from Dad's apartment, but of course that never happened either. Would not recommend this facility.
