The staff make or break your family members experience. My loved one has been forgotten to be given food at meal times and frequently waits at least 25 minutes after pushing her button to be helped get out of her recliner and into her wheelchair so she can go to the bathroom. On 2 separate occasions, staff could not tell us when the last time our family member got morphine which was supposed to be every 4 hours. Her apartment is supposed to be cleaned weekly which is clearly not happening due to the spiderwebs in the corner, dirt and crumbs all over the carpet, piled up dirty dishes from meals the staff have brought up but never took the previous days or meals dishes back down to the kitchen to be washed. It’s obvious from the second you walk into her apartment that it’s not being cleaned weekly (which is supposed to be included in their monthly bill). After being given a shower, my grandma has been put back in her recliner still soaking wet and was not dried off at all. When she asked for a towel (one of HER towels) to dry herself off and said she was cold and wet, the staff told her “you’ll air dry eventually” and left. She had to use the blanket on her recliner to dry herself off and then had to cover up in her now wet blanket. I’ve personally entered the building to go visit her and seen a staff member laying on the couch in the shared common area, sleeping, mid day. She is rarely greeted when the staff enter her apartment and is usually just given a “do you need something?” In an annoyed tone, making her feel like a bother. I will add though that the activity director (not sure her name but she has purple in her hair) is fantastic. She greets people by name, initiates conversation with the residents and makes both the residents *and* their families feel like she truly cares.

I have no idea why this place is called a Memory Care Facility!! My Dad stayed here, leading to his death. They did absolutely NOTHING to assist with any memory care! All they do is lock the doors so a person can't wander out and collect MORE $$ cuz they call it Memory Care. They have alot of nerve claiming its memory care!! My Dad stayed in his room all day alone with no activity, he became depressed, hated the food, slept most of the day, lost weight and his memory worsened. This place failed him! Not once, in 2+ years, did he ever get to go anywhere or even go outside, like they claimed he'd be able to. He died alone there 🥺 I lived in another State and visited when I could, he didn't want me to leave!

My husband & I have lived here since August, 2024. It is clean & beautiful. Like anywhere else it is not perfect. There have been a few glitches, but they have always been resolved. The food was not good when we first moved here, but management & the cook met with residents. They listened to our issues & the food has improved tremendously. I’m picky & even I think it is good. The Life Enrichment/Activities coordinator is amazing. She is a bundle of endless energy with a head full of ideas. She schedules field trips. Of course all of the activities are voluntary, but you can’t go to one of her sessions without leaving with a huge smile on your face. And you will see our Sales Director, Christa, flitting all over. Her energy & her smile are endless. She makes ME smile. Our nurse is the kindest, sweetest woman, always ready to dig in & help her aids. If there is a problem at all, it is getting & keeping good aids on 3rd shift. But management is aware & the problems are being addressed. For all seniors, it is difficult to leave our homes & enter a full time care facility, but Christa & other management were so welcoming. They took the sadness out of the transition. I would definitely suggest you come & check us out. Whether it is for you or a loved one, I really think you will be pleasantly surprised.

This place and the people who spend their time here will always hold a very near and dear piece of my heart. We didn’t get the pleasure of staying very long, but the services that my mother experienced here were top notch. The staff did absolutely anything and everything they could to make her as comfortable as she could possibly be. They delivered her meals and helped her enjoy them, they took care of her med schedule and coordinated with a separate hospice service to manage her prescriptions. They also kept me updated and were so welcoming when I came to visit. The individuals that were by my mom’s side during her transition and cared for her - I will never forget. It takes a very high caliber of person to dedicate their professional life to the happiness and wellbeing of people who need them and their families who love them and I sincerely hope they are being fairly compensated for the extraordinary work they do. Christa Kealey, the director of sales was absolutely the highlight of my personal experience here. She stayed late to accommodate me when I needed it, she bent over backwards to help me with logistics and she always had a bright smile and positive attitude. She comforted me while I was going through one of the hardest times in my life to date and she really treated my mom and I like we were family. And most importantly she came to check on me when I was packing up the room alone and we shared funny stories about my mom and delighted in the fact that we both noticed gorgeous redwing blackbirds that came to visit the bird feeder that we set up on her porch. The company and kindness was much needed and extremely appreciated. If the extraordinary staff isn’t enough for you to decide to move a loved one here, the views and the grounds will convince you too. I’ve included some of the gorgeous pictures I took and I am just so grateful that my mom had such a beautiful lake to look out on with lots of birds to come nibble on some of her birdseed. The day after my mom started to transition was on my birthday. I don’t think the staff knew, but they gave me lots of support plenty of hugs and also plenty of space to grieve. Before I left that day I look a walk out the back of the building toward the lake. It was a beautiful day and I snapped the picture above of the cute family of ducks swimming by. This is a very special place and I have very fond memories here and a great deal of gratitude.
