I'm currently a resident at Cedars and for the most part its OK. But there's always that bad apple that spoils the bunch. I've been complaining to management about this one CNA for a month now, but they don't seem to care. It seems like they are only thinking about getting quantity care givers instead of quality care givers. Upper management don't care cuz they get to go home to their nice homes and nice cars and comfy beds at night while we(residents) are stuck here putting up with people that only view us as a paycheck and don't give a damn about us.

My sister passed away on January 12th. I had talked to her on January 6th. She had a bad cough and had to get off the phone. Did they call the doctor or the hospital?? I don’t know because I haven’t heard from the administrator, social services or the Nurse in charge. I have called all three of them and they have yet to return my call. They have also not returned the call of Mike Murphy the funeral director in Boulder, Colorado. My sister had MS and was confined to a wheelchair or the bed she needed help being transferred from one to the other. She could not do it by herself on numerous occasions she had to spend the weekend in bed because there was inadequate staff to transfer her from the bed to the wheelchair. In addition to that her diapers were not changed on a regular basis, and she ended up with UTIs from damp diapers. There is a total breakdown of communication between the patients the administrator and some of the staff don’t send your loved ones here unless you want to be totally frustrated.

Overall a wonderful place to go if you need a safe and clean environment to get sober and learn more about the disease model of addiction. I recently went for a second time and things have changed for the better. Staff communicates wonderfully with each other, and as a transgender female [cis male] I was understandably worried about my safety. They took great care of me and pretty much all the residents accepted and loved me for me. What a difference a year makes! Thank you Cedar.

I have lived here for 9 1/2 years I have been the resident gardener here for 8 1/2 years and have been elected president of resident Council four times. I have tried to contact the new owners which is stellar Senior living about multiple problems that we have here and they will not respond to our multiple request to discuss these problems. So far stellar has not been so stellar. I have referred over $1 million in business to this place over the cof the years but will not continue to do so. As it stands right now I would not recommend this place to my dog. Now it is 2022 and my attitude towards Cedars healthcare Center has reversed 100%. We have a new administrator Miss Terry Lee and between her and Mr. Everett Benton they are turning this place back into one of the finest facilities in town. The ship always either sinks or floats depending on the captain and now we have a great captain. They are completely remodeling this place, soon it will no longer be a pigsty. The dining room has re-opened afterBeen closed for almost 3 years. It's amazing what good management can do to a business
