From the moment my husband and I walked through a tour of Cedarhurst, we were impressed. We left our tour that day knowing that this was the place where my grandmother would be well taken care of. From day one, my grandmother has been well-cared for and the staff all know her name. I find this impressive in a place where there are many residents who need care, but the staff always has a smile on their face and time for your questions. My grandmother has acclimated quickly thanks to the staff and the other residents. This is a warm, welcoming environment, and she is thriving in this community.

As a caregiver to one of the residents who reside here, I must say that the people they have employed here are an absolute gift from God…….they are amazing….. they are so kind, patient, generous, and truly care about every resident here……..Miss Mona, and Lashonda, from housekeeping are the best!!!!! They always go above and beyond, what their job description requires…….Melinda, who’s the activities director, makes everyone feel loved and welcomed and ALWAYS has a smile on her face……Christine, front desk, will always greet you with a smile, and gives you all the help you need…….she is literally like the “mom” of the place!!!!!! And ALL of the residents are so warm and loving, and truly treat everyone like family…….. I did only give 4 stars, as the dining experience truly needs to be improved. But that is something I can be patient with as the rest of the facility is absolutely wonderful! I highly recommend Cedarhurst of St. Charles for your family/loved one to join!!!!!

Cedarhurst of St. Charles is an absolute 10/10! From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re greeted with bright smiles and a genuine sense of warmth. The atmosphere is welcoming, spotless, and truly feels like home. The staff—who I like to think of as “house moms and dads”—are compassionate, patient, and always ready to lend a helping hand. Their kindness and dedication create an environment where residents feel safe, valued, and loved. Cedarhurst offers an award-winning Community Enrichment Program that continually finds new and creative ways to keep residents active, engaged, and connected. There’s always something meaningful and fun happening! Dining is another highlight. With a talented personal chef leading the way, meals are served restaurant-style with printed menus and a variety of delicious, nutritious options available throughout the day. Both of my parents are residents at Cedarhurst of St. Charles, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care and attention they receive. I recommend this community wholeheartedly—come for a visit and experience it yourself. You won’t be disappointed!

My dad moved into Cedarhurst in February, and the staff have been wonderfully caring and attentive. The community is welcoming, always clean, and offers plenty of activities that keep residents engaged. My dad especially enjoys the luncheons for all residents as well as the men’s group gatherings. We’re very grateful for the care he receives, and I appreciate the size of the facility, which makes it easy for him to get around.
