Upate: I really feel like I can see that they are working to make some changes. This is encouraging. As I said before, all the people have always been wonderful -- just need more of them. It seems to me that more people are being hired and I am starting to see some improvements. I feel like it is a corporate issue, but I appreciate the administration for working to make the changes they have control over. I am hoping I can update this review later, but if I had it to do over again, I would probably take my mother somewhere else. Everyone that works there is wonderful and kind, but they need more workers. I have been there several times and pushed my mother's button and no one ever came. That is concerning. I don't know how often they really clean. I have cleaned my mother's toilet more than once. It was filthy. I can tell it doesn't get vacuumed once a week. The meals do not come out in a timely manner. Last week, one resident sat for an hour and 20 minutes before her breakfast was brought out. My mom has been eating in her room a lot lately because she has been sick. I got there one morning at 10:15 and her breakfast still had not been brought to her room. I went to get it and several workers were having a meltdown in the dining room because there were only 3 people working. Administration tells me things will get done and they don't. They even threw a set of my mom's sheets away without telling me and she went two nights with no sheets on her bed. If they had told me, I would have brought sheets the day they threw them away. To me, that is neglect. I know it is because they are overworked and understaffed. Like I said, I hope I can update this later because the people that work there are lovely people. However, I am not happy with the care we have received there. I feel like I have to check in constantly and it shouldn't be that way.

Friendly staff, knowledgeable in the healthcare industry. Melanie, the sales manager is very kind and understanding of the needs of the residents and their families. Highly recommend this Community for your loved ones. I had family there. And wouldn’t hesitate one minute if her health improved and could go back to that level of care.

This has been an excellent place for my dad’s transition from home care to assisted care, to memory care. Grateful for the kind staff and beautiful facility. Would recommend this as your first stop when thinking about the next steps for your loved one.

To be fair, my Mom loves her room and most caretakers at this facility. The downfall is the kitchen/dining experience. She dines in her room partly because she states they can wait an hour for their meals in the dining room. Since day one of her moving in Dec 1st, 2022 she has always felt she gets whatever is leftover from the lunch menu rather than what she chose. This month she has missed 3 meals. I had a meeting yesterday with the new kitchen manager and a corporate kitchen head. Hopefully it has made an impression and things will improve. Most importantly they need to consider themselves caregivers as well as the rest of the staff at Restoration. Each and every resident deserves a good nutritional meal as needed to maintain their health and well being. I gave it a 3 star rating and will update as soon as I see the dining experience progress.
