Carnegie Village

I was extremely impressed when we came to tour the IL facility for our loved one. The decor and the atmosphere are bar none. It is clean and well maintained and felt like a fancy place without being pretentious. There was a buzz in the building, residents were enjoying each other's company and spending time participating in activities. And there were so many activities available everyday. There were lots of outings to choose from as well. The full service dining room and medical transportation were also big draws for this facility. The tour was great. Not only were the apartments very spacious and well lit, but the staff were phenomenal. We were greeted with smiles at every turn from the front desk to the servers, to the housekeepers to the office staff. They all seemed genuinely excited about a new resident and were so friendly. Highly recommend! Your loved one will not be lonely or bored at all!

Carnegie Village has been a very good experience overall. The building is clean and well‑kept, and the atmosphere feels calm and welcoming. The staff members I’ve interacted with have been kind and patient, and they seem to genuinely care about the residents. The common areas are comfortable, and there are nice touches throughout that make it feel more like a community than a facility. Carnegie Village does a solid job of creating a safe, supportive environment. I appreciate the communication and the effort they put into making residents feel at home. It’s a place I feel comfortable recommending.

My family has had a great experience with this nursing facility. The staff is very attentive, compassionate, and always takes the time to listen. Nursing management is especially attentive. Wounds were consistently well cared for and any concerns received immediate attention. Management is easy to approach and genuinely willing to hear our concerns, which makes a big difference. We haven’t had this level of communication or responsiveness at other facilities, so it really stands out. We’ve especially noticed positive changes at the facility with the new Director of Nursing she’s clearly working hard to improve things, is very approachable, and even provided her personal phone number to ensure any concerns are addressed. It’s reassuring to see leadership so involved and committed to providing great care.

I am quite amazed with this facility, the cleanliness of it and the friendliness of staff. The front desk receptionist is so sweet and kindhearted. The residents are friendly and very engaged in the daily activities that are provided. Most Assisted living facilities don’t have a charge nurse on duty 24/7 but this facility does so that’s a major bonus. I would in fact recommend this facility to all.
