This is a very positive review and a small story. A year ago my Mom was put on hospice and was not expected to live very long due to Parkinson's. The hospice provider recommended Silverado Memory care in Lee' Summit, MO. My Mom was transferred from home to the facility where she was greeted with open arms and immediate care. The facility is top notch. My mom and family was treated like family from day one. The staff, and the admin staff were always available to answer any questions that came up. My Mom was always clean, bathed and taken care of. Care plans were made and updated as often as needed to provide my Mom the best care possible. I feel because of the care she received and all of the special activities and events the facility held was a huge factor in the prolonged life of my Mom. The staff always seemed to love what they do and it showed in my Mom's care. Long story short, my Mom recently passed almost 14 months later after I was told she did not even have a month when she was at home. This says something for sure. If you have a loved one with Parkinson's or dementia, I would not go anywhere else except Silverado. My Mom lived another year because of this facility and the superb care she was given. Thank you to everyone that has made a difference in my Mom's last year of life.

I’m impressed with the quality of care, activities, and compassion at Silverado. I was very concerned that my sibling would not adjust to moving out of her house and into a memory care facility. To my surprise and delight the staff made her feel welcomed and encouraged her to be involved. She’s adjusted very well, made friends and living a great life.

I am late posting this review but still wanted to say what a great place this is. My sister went to live there before she passed and I am still amazed at the great care she received. Everyone including the admin staff, dining staff, caregivers, nursing staff and event coordinators were absolutely the best. The facility is beautiful and welcoming. Thank you Silverado for all you did for my sister and her family.

I’ve had the opportunity to learn about the advancements Silverado is making in the area of memory care from a professional standpoint and from seeing firsthand how well a friend’s mother is thriving under their care and programming. The Silverado staff in Lee’s Summit are some of the most compassionate professionals I have ever met. They truly seeks to honor the residents’ unique interests and work tirelessly to keep family relationships intact.
