Carillon at Belleview Station is an amazing place. I love how welcoming everyone is in this facility is the moment you walk in. It’s always looking clean and presentable! The here are all amazing people. They do their best to keep the residents entertained, satisfied and safe. I always have great experiences here! I’ve come to really appreciate and enjoy my time with all the residents I work with and the staff I interact with daily. This is the best Senior living facility I’ve ever been to. If you’re looking for a home for your loved ones this is the place for them!

I have been in healthcare for nearly 10 years, what I saw while visiting the memory care unit, was troubling. I would not put my loved ones here. The fine furnishings and fancy meals, even the persona of professionalism and “care” mask the truth, all designed to distract you from how their treat the residents, it broke my heart.

My earlier post woefully neglected to mention the amazing events and activities available to Carillon residents! Families are always welcomed and they have been a blast! Monthly birthday parties, ice cream socials, movie nights, bingo, travel/history presentations, musicians of every type and more. Barbecues in the summer have amazing turnout! The Luau was awesome entertainment and food-wise. Every major holiday is celebrated to the hilt! My Mom rarely answers her phone, as she’s off doing something onsite. This is truly a blessing since she no longer drives! Kudos to all for the hard work they put in doing this for the residents. I hope they know how much they are appreciated.

My grandfather has lived in this facility's memory care program for over three years. Our family is deeply disappointed to learn that he is now being forced to leave because of incontinence, a common and expected part of later-stage dementia. It’s difficult to understand why a memory care facility would be unwilling to care for residents as their disease progresses in predictable ways. This decision has caused significant stress for our family and unnecessary disruption for my grandfather, who deserves stability and compassion at this stage of his life. Families considering this facility should ask detailed questions about what happens as a loved one’s dementia advances. They should also ask questions about additional costs for medical needs. We never expected that increasing care needs would result in our grandfather being asked to leave the place we believed would be his long-term home until the end. Extremely frustrating and very disappointed.
