I highly recommend this senior housing community! The staff are incredibly caring, friendly, and attentive. A special thank you to Karen S, who always goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and cared for. The food is great, and there are so many wonderful social events and activities that keep residents engaged and happy. It truly feels like a warm and supportive community.

Brookdale Tamarac has been Amazing !! The Director Virginia has been so Wonderful!! My mother loved Brookdale and was so happy to be there. My mother loved the great meals that were provided and enjoyed eating with the Beautiful Ladies she met there. Unfortunately she was only there a short time before she passed away. I can't describe the Love and Kindness that was shown to me by Virginia. I would receive text 's from her checking on my mother and me. She was so supportive and understanding!! I don't know how I would have gotten through this difficult time without her. If you're looking for a great place to retire or looking for a family member this is the place. They don't just talk the talk they walk the talk! These days it is so hard to find a place for our elderly where they are SAFE, and have a place where they are respected and loved!! I have been a resident at Brookdale - Tamarac Square for the past 18 months. My needs for independent living have been full-filled very well. This is the result of the Executive Director "Ms. Virginia Trujillo's" hands-on approach, professionalism and confidentiality in management style as well as having a dedicated staff. I have been in corporate management during my entire working years, but I have never had to handle so many different functions as Ms. Trujillo. These include Sales & Rentals; Maintenance; House Keeping; Transportation; Reception; and Security of facility and residents (Approximately 180 elderly and ill people that are very set in their ways). The only way to keep all loose ends under control is by "LOVE for the JOB", and this Ms. Trujillo HAS !

I honestly felt like this establishment might not fit into my lifestyle until I moved here. I have been racially harassed. I have become the subject of derision by some residents. The management is not forthright about your billing and has overcharged me every month I have lived here and refuses to remove the charges, nor allow me to move into a smaller apartment in spite of promises to. Anyone can look up the hundreds of law suites against the company, several of them are class action. I'm preparing to move from here, and have already retained legal assistance, because I expect to be sued for a community fee that is not administered by the corporation. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
