Recently, I have decided to research Senior Independent Living communities and find out what it would be like living in such a community. Looking at transitioning from taking care of oneself your entire life to allowing others to help and support your daily activities (cooking, cleaning, paying bills, grocery shopping, etc.) can be overwhelming. Tracy Scott, the Capital Place Community Development Director that I have been corresponding with, has been one of the kindest and patient staff person that I have dealt with. She understands the importance of making sure that potential tenants, interested in living in their community, is provided with all the information necessary to make sound decisions for their future life choices. She is able to answer all my questions and provide clarification when needed. I want to give a "shout out" to Tracy for being such a wonderful person to talk to. I feel comforted in knowing that she is honest and trust-worthy to help guide me in what is "best" for me and my future living arrangements. Thank you, Tracy! You are the BEST!

WOW I just had a tour and was soooo impressed by this facility and the friendly staff -- it's like a stationary cruise ship as far as amenities and social events -- the cost is incredibly reasonable - all meals included as well as a life monitor in case you fall! I seriously can't wait til I am old enough to apply!

My grandma has lived at Capital Place for at least 7 years. The staff has always been welcoming and helpful. Grandma has made many friends and enjoys many of their activities. They have recently added an anytime dining menu - so now there are about 12 choices for lunch and dinner and also 24 hour concierge services. It was good before the changes, now it is top notch !

Capital place has been a great place for my extended family to live. They have always been treated well and speak well of all the staffing. They also mention that the office manager Alyssa Surface is always in top of their needs and concerns. I appreciate the communication and transparency with this community it’s truly a great place for retirees to live! I appreciate the changes they have made with all day dining
