If you need a little extra assistance with your daily living activities, we’ll help with bathing, dressing, personal grooming and mobility. Our staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency. And our seniors enjoy the convenience of not having to figure out what to make for dinner or who is going to do the dishes!
You’ll love calling our gorgeous campus home, with its charming brick exterior and large windows throughout, which bathe our communal spaces in bright natural light. Two and a half years ago, my mother-in-law moved into Brookdale Wornall Place. Understandably, she wasn't too happy about the transition, but the staff made her feel very welcome. I want to highlight Sergine, a truly exceptional young lady with a heart of gold. Her compassion and dedication to the residents were evident from the start. From the moment my family and I met her, we knew we could rely on her. Sergine went above and beyond to advocate for my mother-in-law and every resident. Despite her busy schedule, she always made time for each individual, consistently maintaining a warm smile and never displaying rudeness. Many families counted on her and felt assured knowing their loved ones were safe in her care. Sergine's leadership skills are commendable, and both Brookdale and the residents are fortunate to have her as part of the team. While no facility is perfect, Sergine created an atmosphere that made Wornall feel just about ideal. Her reputation has spread throughout Kansas City, and I would confidently recommend Brookdale Wornall Place to anyone seeking care for their loved ones, always mentioning the positive impact Sergine had on our family. Even though my mother-in-law is no longer able to reside at the facility, Sergine still takes the time to visit her, which is a rare and appreciated gesture. Overall, the staff is commendable, and Sergine leads with respect and integrity, earning the admiration of her colleagues.

Nothing special here, they are there to get as much money as they can before you die. For the last 6 years quality of food and services have declined year over year but the rent keeps going up much faster than inflation rates every year. They’ll do the bare minimum to keep you alive.

Beautiful place, convenient location and a really home- like atmosphere. The staff knew residents by name, and sought to engage with them at every opportunity. I was very impressed.
