On our campus, you’ll experience everything from water aerobics to movie nights, social hours and spa days. And we’re conveniently located near local restaurants, shopping centers, hotels and medical providers, as well as all of the area attractions that the city has to offer.

Ready to have some fun? We’ll help tackle the cooking, cleaning and housework for you so that you can focus your time on reconnecting with your passions, socializing with friends and exploring new hobbies. Our seniors love signing up for our many daily events, with fun options like:

Our apartments come in several floor plans to choose from. We have one-bedroom and two-bedroom options, so you’ll be able to find the right space to call home. Your home will have large windows that let in plenty of natural light, a spacious living area, a full kitchen and bathroom and large closets. And we have a variety of shared spaces throughout the community, too. Take a stroll down our scenic walking paths, mingle in the fireside living room or have some fun on the putting green. And you’ll love relaxing in our scenic courtyard next to our charming fish pond.

    Providing a percussion wellness class for the senior community at Brookdale West University was a meaningful experience. The session focused on gentle drumstick exercises, using familiar oldies tracks to stimulate memory, movement, and connection through sound. We explored basic rudiments in a relaxed way, and I also drew from my Brazilian percussion background—especially repique and caixa technique—to introduce rhythm in a way that felt engaging but still comfortable for everyone present. What mattered most was creating a space where each participant felt at ease, supported, and mindful of their own wellbeing while making music together. Seeing the smiles, the subtle movements of hands keeping time, and the shared sense of rhythm in the room was a powerful reminder that percussion can be both expressive and restorative at any stage of life. I’m grateful to Brookdale Senior Living for welcoming this kind of musical wellness into their community and for valuing the role that rhythm can play in care, memory, and human connection. A huge shout out to Hope Stone for giving me the opportunity.

    I moved in and the first staff I met were wonderful. Then within 8 months there was new staff and they were very rude and no courtesy, uncaring. I started to feel very uncomfortable. I lived with black mold in my bathroom ceiling and it took maintenance forever to want to work on the ceiling when I've already gave notice to move out! I was getting sick from breathing the black mold and I had to moved out immediately. I'm a retired military veteran and I can't believe the living conditions I had to deal with.

    As a new resident I have nothing but accolades for Brookdale Wedt University! Its greatest asset, in my opinion, is the ability to provide so many stimulating options to stay healthy and stimulate your brain health! It’s easy to make friends while enjoying your older years!❤️

    My mom is safe and happy here. The staff has amazingly low turnover and is very kind. The chef is hands on and responsive to concerns. Sometimes things fall thru the cracks but it feels like family so you shrug and move on.
