Brookdale Stanwood is truly a wonderful assisted living community. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely care about the residents—they go above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable and valued. The activities program is fantastic, offering a wide variety of engaging options that keep residents active, connected, and having fun. Brookdale Stanwood has been a wonderful assisted living community. The staff are kind, attentive, and I think they genuinely care about the residents’ well-being. The conmunity is clean, welcoming, and provides a safe and supportive environment where residents can maintain their dignity and quality of life. Clearly, the team works hard to create a positive atmosphere for both residents and their families. I would highly recommend Brookdale Stanwood to anyone looking for compassionate assisted living care.

Brookdale is not a place for anyone who needs assistance beyond meals in the dining room. My mother was unable to leave her room for 3 days. She called for meal delivery to her room. The meals were delivered and stacked on the table, left untouched, for 3 days. When I arrived mom was unable to get out of bed. The nurse was unable to do well checks because the contract didn't include that service. Brookdale was unavailable to write a new contract for increased services. This was the last straw, there were many. I took my mother to my house for her health and well-being and there wasn't anyone at the front desk or any staff to be found to let them know mom was not going to be living there anymore. No one called to check on her. Housekeeping is charged every month, whether there is a housekeeper on staff or not, most often not. It took 4 months to get the bill right when she moved in. I went and sat in the accounting department's office until I witnessed the auto withdrawal removed from their accounting system so I didn't have to deal with unauthorized withdrawals. They don't deserve even one star.
