Brookdale Santa Catalina in Tuscon, Arizona, is a rental CCRC. That means you’ll pay a monthly rental fee, plus monthly fees based on the level of care and services you need. With multiple levels of care, you will likely be able to live in the same community, even if you need more care later. My mom needs pain medication every 4 hours. She has cancer, and she has 2 bags. One on each side coming out of her kidneys On Sunday June 22. They told me they ran out of pain. Medicine that they were gonna then the Dr. Noah, to get a new script. Today's Monday They just barely got the spoon prescription. There's a lot of things I can tolerate, but one of them has not seen my mom in pain when they're supposed to be giving her her pain medicine.And this nurse acts like she doesn't even care

We were seriously concerned about moving from a 4,000 square foot house to a 450 square foot apartment. After almost 62 years of marriage, we discovered that we still like each other. We absolutely like and appreciate all the staff and the services that are offered. No more cooking, dishes, cleaning, laundry or forgetting to order or take medications. Our stresses have been significantly reduced. We realize we would have been better off moving here when everyone else knew we needed assisted living. After viewing other facilities, we are extremely happy that we chose Brookdale Santa Catalina.

My mom has been at Brookdale Santa Catalina assisted living for over 2 years. First and by far the most important is that EVERYONE on staff is kind and patient. I never worry about her wellbeing or safety. The food is excellent!! Almost every window has a beautiful view with plenty of birds and wildlife. The interior is clean. The only drawback is the carpet is cleaned frequently but still has stains from walkers, wheelchairs and spills. (Life in assisted living 🙂)
