Overview

Because nothing says home like cozy spaces and people who care. If you and your family are looking for memory care and support, Brookdale Reno can help. Located in Reno, Nevada, our Alzheimer's and dementia care community, also known as Clare Bridge, is rooted in a person-centered approach. That means we help our residents find a sense of belonging and purpose while also helping them preserve who they are.

Here residents stay engaged with a gentle daily structure of planned activities to help them maintain their abilities and encourage the use of their current skills. Here are just a few of the activities for your loved one to enjoy here:

  • Brain games

  • Dancing

  • Arts and crafts classes

  • Movie night

  • Walking club

Along with our programming, you’ll have peace of mind knowing that trained staff is on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Our evidence-based approach establishes a routine that helps our residents maintain their abilities, encourages the use of their current skills and offers a sense of security and accomplishment. Working in small cluster groups, each resident is surrounded by others with the same cognitive abilities, to give them a feeling of fitting in.

Surrounded by your favorite things and people who love you—that’s home. Our apartments have plenty of natural window light and some even have a garden view. And you and your family will have several floor plans to choose from. We’ll help you make your loved one’s apartment familiar and comfortable with a move-in guide and a suggested list of what to bring.

Whether it’s flooring choices or how we approach behavioral expressions, our Clare Bridge program uses an evidence-based approach to continue to evolve our state-of-the-art care for you and your family. We focus on building relationships with you and your loved one based on trust, loving concern and a strong sense of family.

Brookdale Reno Reviews

My father who has Alzheimer’s disease spent four nights in brookdale. He jumped the fence one day, I found him and brought him back. Another day his friend (who they thought was his guardian, she’s not) took him out for the day (she had no authorization to do so) as she returned him and left, he ran out the front door. After that they kicked him out and charged us $8,000! For a four night stay! This place is very unorganized, they may seem like they care when you tour the place but all they really care about is the money. They didn’t give us any alternatives to help, no other medication for his wandering. Nothing. This place made me and my family disgusted. Plus it has a D rating from the health and human services.

My Mom has been living here for 2 years and we have been enjoying it in a manner of professionalism and total respect. My kids are growing up so fast and I have two businesses with my husband and both of us do not have quality time enough to take care of the MOM. Alzheimer is a nightmare for her and ours too. Yes, all nursing care must feel home, fast and safe. Recently we saw one Asian gentleman (not sure what his name and he comes out from the kitchen - guessing the food manager/chef). He helps the others and makes sure all food carts are good during the service. We also saw him bringing some water to one lady sitting on the couch and waiting for her to finish her water before he left. Great staffs. Thank you Brookdale Reno

I visited Brookdale Memory Care today. My Sister in California has Dementia, I would love to have her move closer to me. I met with Laurie DeMaine, she was so gracious and informative, she took her time showing me around the beautiful facility. It was warm and inviting, all the residents looked peaceful and content. Laurie provided me with information and options regarding my sister's current needs and future care. It was an informative and enlightening visit...A very special Place!

I would like to say Thank You to all at Brookdale who take of my wonderful Mom. I toured many facilities which they were very nice and clean and professional. I chose Brookdale I think it is clean and has a very warm home like feeling for my mom. I like when my mom is the living room watching tv or an activity they offer snacks that is the feeling of a home not just a care facility. I really love the way each and every person treats my Mom at Brookdale I do not consider them staff they are our extended family and I sure feel blessed to have them.
