This gives you more time to do whatever you want, whether it’s catching your favorite morning fitness class, meeting friends for a happy hour or taking a day trip to downtown Monroe. And while you’re off having fun, you can take comfort in knowing that our staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency.
As a resident, you’ll choose your apartment from a variety of floor plans. We have designed our apartments to feel and function like a home, with private bathrooms and plenty of light from the windows. We’re pet-friendly, so your furry friend can move in, and we can’t wait to see how you decorate your place! You’ll enjoy sipping coffee in our charming garden courtyard, trying out a new recipe in the community kitchen and taking a stroll down one of our scenic walking paths. We also have a greenhouse, library, fireside living room and transportation coordination.
You’ll love walking down the hall to eat in our restaurant-style dining room, which features delicious entrees like rosemary and garlic chicken and pecan-crusted catfish. And our event calendar is filled with many ways to keep active. Join our Card Sharks group for a game of UNO!, attend a weekend Bible study or tend to your plants in the garden.

In my line of work, I’m in many assisted living and memory care communities in the area. Brookdale Monroe Square is one of the best in the area. The staff here are what makes this community so great. Everyone working in this community truly has a heart for their residents and it is evident every single time I come in. I’ve seen first hand how they go above and beyond to ensure their residents are cared for as if they were their own family. Truly, everyone from the administrator to the rehab team is exceptional. I would recommend brookdale monroe square to anyone in the area looking for assisted living or memory care. They will be in good hands.

Brookdale is truly a home for my Mom. The staff cares for her like family and communicates very well with family. Brookdale is clean, safe and has great food and activities. Having my loved one at Brookdale brings our family peace of mind.

My family is extremely pleased with the kindness, and care given to our loved one. We visit regularly and have found the quality of his care, and the respect shown for him is exemplary. We are greeted with a smile and friendly staff and he in turn smiles and feels safe within the building. What a comfort to know that those you love are being cared for by individuals who treat the residents with compassionate care and dignity. Thank you to those most directly responsible for his care- I wish this staff could be highlighted as superior in every way!!! When we chose this facility, we hit the jackpot !!!

I was very pleased with the care my mother received at Brookdale Monroe Square Memory Care. Every staff member I encountered had a positive caring attitude as well as being compassionate, kind, and helpful. My mother was treated with dignity and respect.
