Property routines (formerly Brookdale Meridian Westland) are being instrumented as they were before Ciel took over management on 4-1-2026. Staff and residents are still not trained on Life Loop, we do not have new resident agreement contracts, and we are disappointed in lack of presence of new ownership group. We do, however, greatly appreciate the rapid response in getting us two new transport buses and one handicapped-accessible van.

Wonderful, caring staff and management. Have made good friends among residents. Please of activities to take advantage of. Would be happy to recommend Ciel at Applewood to anyone interested in a senior living facility.

Ciel at Applewood offers a great mix of amenities, attentive staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. The activity calendar is thoughtful and robust, and the team here is involved and responsive. They also prioritize relationships and engagement in the community and are a great partner with which to work!

This place has great caring employees. The folks i know who live here enjoy it. There is always a very full & diverse schedule should folks want to participate. They host outings to different places like restaurants & events. They have entertainment (folks come in to sing it play instruments) & they have a group made up entirely of residents. They have movies, art classes, bible studies, games & a myriad of other things. And although they have a diverse menu, the folks I've spoken with are not that excited about the food.
