Located in the historic town of Harrisburg, our community has both personal care home services and memory care on one campus. We’re just a short car ride away from museums, restaurants, and attractions such as Fort Hunter Mansion and Park, the Cathedral of Saint Patrick, Hershey Park and The Shoppes at Susquehanna Marketplace.
As a personal care home, our caregivers are available to assist you with daily living needs, allowing you to continue your independent lifestyle but with less responsibility and more peace of mind. You can spend your days focusing on socializing and partaking in daily activities like game nights and the garden club while we take care of the rest.
For those that require more specialized care, our memory care program provides person-center assistance to individuals with Alzheimer’s and dementia. This service is designed to help residents work on their cognitive abilities and engage in a variety of passions and hobbies. Our goal is to keep residents enriched, whether through an art class, music programs, brain games, or social hours. We have highly established programs for both seniors in the early stages of dementia, as well as those facing more advanced stages, which have continuously evolved with the advancements in dementia care. Residents will partake in excursions to area museums, peer activities, and the sharing of stories around the table with new friends.
Our community features several floor plans to choose from, and we’re pet-friendly so your four-legged friend can move in as well. In addition to your own apartment, which is fully customizable, residents will enjoy a cozy library, fireside living room, sunny dining room, beauty and barbershop, and walking paths. You’ll take care in knowing that our staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency. And many of our communities’ exterior doors are secured with monitored exits and entrances.

II was looking for a better place for my father and I came across Brookdale Harrisburg. Both my aunts were already living there so to my father that was a win win. Now they all can be living in the same place. . I met with Alex who guided me through the entire process. He was extremely kind and understanding to me and my father. He made sure my father was comfortable and happy with the room he had for him. Alex went above and beyond to ensure my dad was happy.. Besides that the staff were very caring towards my dad’s needs. Courtney was very helpful ensuring that my dad’s needs were taken care of. Tina and Michelle were my dad’s favorites. They were so kind and understanding even during the tough times with my dad. Tina and Michelle went above and beyond to make sure my father was comfortable in his last days. After my dad couldn’t be left alone I started the chore of finding him a loving new home. One was too crowded and one the rooms were too small … Brookdale Harrisburg was just right. The staff is always friendly and willing to help when needed. They treat everyone with respect and kindness especially the family who comes to visit, very accommodating to anything that is needed to make my dads stay the best it could be. Lots of fun activities and lunches for birthdays and holidays. Can’t say enough good things about Brookdale and their staff, and it’s very clean also.

Both our parents are living at Brookdale (Mom for a year now in Memory Care, Dad in assisted living). The staff is so friendly and very caring of the residents. Mable, the director of Clarebridge is great and tries to get the residents out for lunches, field trips, etc... to make them feel like they are more at home and a part of the community.

After looking at a number of assisted living facilities, we chose to move our mom to Brookdale Harrisburg in March of this year and we’re glad we did. The staff is so warm and friendly and they really enjoy interacting with the residents. No job is too big or too small for any of them. They all work as a team to make sure mom is comfortable and happy. I can wholeheartedly recommend Brookdale Harrisburg! The Hudson Family
