Brookdale Memory Care in Fort Myers is truly an exceptional facility. My father is a resident there, and the level of care he received—along with the kindness shown to his dog, Gino—meant so much to our family. Marlene, the Executive Director, is outstanding. She is not only actively involved in every aspect of resident care but is also incredibly approachable and supportive whenever any concerns arise. Her leadership creates a warm and compassionate environment throughout the community. The entire staff deserves recognition. Ciro, who oversees maintenance, is always responsive and willing to help with anything we need. The nursing team is attentive, compassionate, and genuinely dedicated to the well-being of every resident. We are deeply grateful for the care, respect, and kindness shown to our father and our family. I cannot recommend Brookdale Fort Myers highly enough.

My husband Gary has been at Brookdale, The Colony for 7 months. His care has been outstanding. The aides are wonderful and experienced in caring for Dementia residents. I feel confortable knowing he is safe and well taken care. Marlene, the Office Manager is very helpful and always gets my issues resolved. Carrie, has done a wonderful job of retaining and hiring new and competent staff. I'm please with the facility and would recommend it to anyone looking for a memory care community.

We have had experiences at many of the memory care facilities in town and Brookedale has far exceeded all of them. The staff is so caring and patient with all of the residents. It’s so wonderful to confidently know your loved one is being cared for with compassion.

I had to place my Mom in a memory care over a year ago and you can imagine my anxiety of settling on the right home. As I write this today, I couldn't be more happier with Brookdale Fort Myers The Colony. There are many reasons, but one that stands out is the loving staff and one in particular that has been a huge favorite of mine and most importantly moms, is Marlene. She goes above and beyond her business office coordinator duties to make sure the residents feel loved and cared for. If you ask Mom, she will tell you she is her favorite. As an only child and busy, it can be difficult for me to get by there as much as I can. When I make it in, Marlene always lets me know how Mom is doing. They have such a sweet relationship. And that is consistent with all of the staff there who take care of our loved ones in Brookdale. It has been a great choice and a comforting one knowing good people like Marlene are there.
