My mother was looking for a facility that was ready for her to be active and yet still an assisted living facility. She has been there for a little over 2 years and she has had a wonderful time. At the American house on Fort Myers they always having day and afternoon activities live music especially events celebrating everything from the Kentucky Derby to Halloween and special books. If you're looking for a place that would be great for mom or dad that needs a place this is an excellent place to go to.

We have been very pleased with the care my dad has received at American House, Fort Myers. The facility is clean, the meals are delicious and nutritious, and the staff is caring and attentive. There are many activities for the residents to participate in and the activities director and the aids frequently remind dad of activity times and locations so that he stays active. I’d like to give special thanks to Daisy who enthusiastically organized dad’s 100th birthday party at the facility.

Great staff. Maintenance team and leader is very knowledgeable and helpful. Activity director (Daisy) really cares and her work shows. They go above and beyond to find ways to improve the quality of life for their residents!!!!!
