We take care of boring responsibilities—like cleaning, cooking, and maintenance—so you can focus on the more exciting parts of life: fun hobbies, new passions, and developing genuine friendships. Our assisted living community is filled with vibrant, like-minded seniors, and you'll find us tucked away in a quiet neighborhood of Goldsboro, North Carolina.
Our campus has convenient access to nearby restaurants and shopping, but our residents know that the most exciting things happen right here on campus. We plan an extensive events calendar with activities like:

-
Community sing-alongs
-
Wine and mingle
-
Poker night
If you feel like spending some time solo, you'll find plenty to do at every corner of our campus. On-site amenities like our fully-stocked library, salon, arts and crafts studio and courtyard garden keep life interesting.
After a fun-filled day, everyone needs their own space to relax and recharge. Residents can choose from several apartment floor plan options, ranging from studios to two-bedroom layouts. No matter what you decide, your apartment will come equipped with a private bathroom, kitchenette, and plenty of natural light streaming in through windows.
With assisted living, your care plan is personalized entirely on your needs. If you simply want to forgo the chores of everyday life, like doing laundry or cooking, we've got you covered with housekeeping and restaurant-style dining. Our menu is filled with delicious meals that change daily. How does barbeque chicken or smothered pork chops sound? Or, if your sweet tooth strikes, homestyle cherry cobbler or lemon cake? Variety truly makes life at Brookdale feel like resort-living.
If you need help with little things, like dressing, grooming, or medication management, our staff is here to lend a helping hand and then step aside so you can live your life the way you choose to. We also understand how important peace of mind is for you and your loved ones, which is why we have care staff available on campus 24 hours a day, seven days a week to be alerted to an emergency.

The facility smells of urine and we’ve been told they have bed bugs. However, it’s almost impossible to speak with someone in management that seems to care about our concerns, or ever does anything about them. We’re currently looking for another facility.

Stopped in today with an instacart order and walk in and instantly smells of urine. Reminded me of willow Creek when it was named differently. It was so strong. So don't know where the other reviewers got the idea of it smelled and looked clean...but atmosphere could get four stars

They sing a good song but the standard of care is horrible. My family and I clean his room each week and change his sheets. it is common to find 3 or four pairs of soiled underwear in his bathroom. The carpet and bathroom are filthy. When you speak to an employee they act appalled and can almost make you believe things will improve. There is never any “follow through”. We are looking elsewhere even though moving someone with dementia will be difficult.
