Overview

Imagine living in a place where you can exchange the boring chores of everyday life with fun-filled activities, new friends and quality care? You could live in a spacious apartment with an abundance of natural light and plenty of space to host your grandchildren — without worrying about things like maintenance, cooking and cleaning up. You could even participate in a variety of exciting recreational events with your friends and neighbors down the hall.

You can enjoy all of that and so much more when you make your home at Brookdale Collin Oaks. Our assisted living and memory care community is located in Plano, Texas and is designed to help each and every resident make the most of their golden years. Living here gives you the chance to do things like:

  • Pursue new hobbies and interests

  • Participate in fitness classes

  • Join your friends for trivia and movie nights

  • Go on excursions and outings to local destinations

  • Enjoy special interest clubs

Because we handle the chores, like cooking, cleaning and lawn care, you have more time than ever before to do the things you love. If that’s not the best way to savor the golden years, we aren’t entirely sure what is.

Many of the seniors in our memory care program enjoy a rich and vibrant recreational calendar, too. We’ve spent years learning how to best care for people just like your loved one, which is why we have programs specially designed to help them feel a deep sense of purpose and belonging. After all, they deserve to enjoy their retirement just as much as anyone else. We’ll even be here to offer gentle guidance and reminders as they engage with an established peer group over the course of each day.

In addition to our enriching programs, safety features and personal assistance, residents and their family members can enjoy peace of mind knowing our staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency.

We’re a pet-friendly community, as well, so don’t hesitate to bring Fido along when you arrive.

We have been very pleased with Brookdale Collin Oaks since my mom moved in six months ago. All of the staff seem to really care about the residents. They go out of their way to get to know the resident and their family. I feel very comfortable with the staff at Brookdale Collin Oaks caring for my mother. The facility is clean and spacious and mom says the food is good. She is happy to call Brookdale Collin Oaks her home.

Just wanted to share my experience with Brookdale and a particular staff member named Deborah. Our dad has dementia and he has been a resident here for 8 months. Everytime I visit Deborah takes extra time to talk with us,and answer all of our questions. She is incredibly caring and is always engaging with the residents. Her compassion goes way beyond anything we could've hoped for! It's not easy when the decision has to be made for your loved one, but I have no doubt that Brookdale is where he belongs. Thanks to Deborah and staff it has been a pleasant experience.

As the Executive Director of the facility, Laura Evitts sets the tone at Brookdale by being available, responsive, friendly, and helpful! She and the rest of the staff have gone above and beyond to help our family and my mom so she is happy and comfortable. It is impossible for everything to be perfect all the time but any issues that have come up have been addressed quickly. My mom is happy to be at Brookdale Collin Oaks and I really feel like they are happy to have her there.

We had to transition my Mother in Law into the memory care community at Brookdale Collin Oaks and the staff has made this very hard time much easier on our family. The nurses and front office staff have been amazing and have cared for my mother in law like they would their own family. They have gone above and beyond to make sure she is comfortable and well taken care of. The staff is very professional and the community is very clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this community.
