Overview
Looking for a carefree place to call home that allows you to ditch the chores, explore a variety of new hobbies and make new and lasting friendships? At Brookdale Burlington, you’ll find all of that and more. We’re an assisted living community in Burlington, North Carolina, nestled on private beautifully landscaped grounds but just around the corner from all the action – restaurants, shopping centers and medical centers.
We take a person-centered approach to care, and our specialty-trained caregivers can help with everything from medication management to assistance with daily living activities and coordination with outside healthcare providers. We’ll also tackle the cooking, cleaning and home maintenance, which means you’ll have more for strolling through our scenic walking paths, tending to your plants in the garden or taking a yoga class. And while you’re off enjoying yourself, you can relax knowing that our staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency.
We’ve designed our apartments to feel and function like a home, with spacious living areas, closets, bathrooms and plenty of light from the windows. As a resident, you’ll choose your own home from a variety of floor plans. And we’re pet-friendly, so your four-legged friend can join you in our community. You’ll love visiting with loved ones on our charming pillared porch, getting pampered in the salon and trying out what you learned in cooking class in our community kitchen. We also have a private dining room and transportation, and our building is secured with a 24-hour security system.
If you’re looking for activities, we have many to choose from. Our daily event calendar is action-packed and features everything from weekly devotional services to social hours, fitness classes and more. We also have resident birthday parties, popcorn and movie nights, brain-boosting trivia and festive holiday celebrations. And you’ll love walking down the hallway into our restaurant-style dining room for delicious multiple-course meals, which serves entrees like rosemary and garlic chicken and Cajun jambalaya – and finishing it off with a slice of carrot cake or chocolate peanut butter pie!

My Father is at Brookdale Assisted Living since January1, 2025. The Staff is caring, always willing to assist in any way. There are daily activities to help the residents socialize & make friends. He has three meals a day, can substitute if needed, I appreciate the caring- always excellent!! I will definitely recommend for your loved ones!!! Margaret Patton

We moved my mom here from another facility where the care didn't meet our expectations. From the beginning we have been so impressed with the caring and responsive staff. There are true connections between the people who work here and the people who live here, and a real sense of community. My mom is treated with patience and understanding, and she has told me more than once that they take such good care of her. I am grateful to have found Brookdale.

My mom is coming up on 4 weeks at Brookdale Burlington. She is settling in very nicely in part due to the awesomely wonderful staff and the the amazingly friendly and supportive residents! From the day we toured with Stephanie, she has remained impressive in her caring and helpful "CAN DO" assistance, for my mom and all people she engages with at Brookdale. I also want to sing my praises for EVERYONE who has engaged with mom and us, her family. Christina at the front desk, Tiffany, Crystal, Brianna, Denise, Anita, and so many more (I'm still learning names... ) EACH and EVERYONE OF YOU ARE A BLESSING !!! I can say that I feel we have found a wonderful place for mom both in the warmth and thoughtfulness of the people working there and those who live there.

Brookdale is pioneering a new method to boot residents they don't want in their community, the "Soft ER Dump". Rather than drop a resident direct in the ER, They call the fiduciary or guarantor and state that they can not provide the "required care" for the resident. They then make false claims based on fraudulent interpretations of Dr's notes obtained via HIPPA violation (no permission) as to why they can not care for the resident.. It would be much simpler if they just took the 30-day notice cancellation available to them in the contract.
