When it comes to care, we offer two levels: assisted living and memory care. If you live a fairly independent lifestyle but need a hand every now and then with things like dressing, grooming, or medication management, our care staff is happy to help without jeopardizing your independence or freedom of choice.

If your needs change along the way and you need a deeper level of support, it's an easy transition to our memory care program. With memory care, seniors receive a daily structured path of engagement, gentle encouragement and reminders, and assistance with tasks like getting around campus or dining.

Our campus prioritizes safety and is equipped with a 24-hour security system. You and your loved ones will also find comfort in knowing that we have care staff on campus 24 hours a day, seven days a week to be alerted to any emergencies.

Shuttle Driver runs red light when he can clearly see that traffic has stopped in the intersection. Still they decide to run their light causing a 20 second blockage in the intersection. Also rather than stay in their lane they cross lanes in the intersection which what the DMV tells you that you are not allowed to do when you take your driving test. USDOT 1832017 CA PUC# TCP25275 Today Thursday 10/2/2025 between 9:30 AM and 10:15AM This is very dangerous and Illegal. 20 seconds to block an intersection is a very long time. I have the dash cam video if you need more proof.

A place that exceeds my daily needs for an assisted needs. I can no longer walk without assistance. Brookdale takes care of my meals, the laundry and my every needs. I never feel lonely or rejected. The staff generally takes care of all the residents, in such a way that I and the people I have become friends with, positive comments. This survey is geared towards any problems that may have risen. It shows that Brookdale is always looking to the future and ways to improve their services.

My mom has been living in Brookdale Brookhurst for 4 months now .It is the greatest place. The staff from director to waitresses are the friendliest and most helpful. They care about the residents and it shows. The facility is super. There are lots of things to do if you choose to, from Bible study or Spanish lessons to outings like restaurants or movies. They do your laundry, clean your place and have a eating facility like a restaurant. With yummy food like fish and my favorite the cheeseburger and fries. It's summer so now there are cookouts! There is a library with books to borrow , puzzles and games. They participate with Scan Embrace and the doctors and nurses come in and see the residents at home. There is also music in the Activity room with people and groups coming to sing with residents. My band Blue Neon played for the folks. What a fun time! I really believe there is something for everybody.
