And our industry-leading Clare Bridge program helps seniors living with Alzheimer’s or dementia receive the extra care they need.
Our specialty-trained caregivers will assist you with medication management, daily living activities and coordination with outside healthcare providers. We’ll cook you delicious multiple-course meals in our restaurant-style dining room, and you’ll never have to do the dishes or your laundry! And while you’re off on a scenic drive excursion with our staff, playing Bingo with friends or enjoying an M&M and movie night, our staff will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency.
Just because a loved one has Alzheimer’s or dementia doesn’t mean they should have to live a dull life. Our staff leads memory care residents through a daily path of enrichment, giving seniors chances to nurture their current skills and explore a variety of hobbies and passions. This includes gentle activities, like fitness classes, arts and music events and brain-boosting games. We’ll also help with daily bathing, dressing, dining and mobility needs.
We have designed our apartments to feel and function like a home, with kitchenettes, bathrooms and plenty of light from the windows. You’ll choose your own home from a variety of floor plans and will have plenty of communal spaces also to enjoy. You’ll love starting your day with a cup of coffee in our charming garden courtyard, getting pampered in the salon or strolling through our beautifully landscaped grounds. I can't say enough good things about the staff at Brookdale Broadmoor and how they make you feel welcome and right at home. Ginger Baily is hands down amazing, and super sincere. Denise exudes joy and I can say first hand that she makes a mean apple pie! Thanks for making us feel so welcome

I called this facility to see if they accepted Medicaid and if they had a room available for my mother. I was told yes to both these questions. I explained the situation with my mother. She is in a facility in Pueblo and I wanted her closer to me here in the Springs I also explained that she has no money and that the facility she is in now takes her pension and social security and that Medicaid pays the balance for her monthly costs. This was all fine, and I scheduled a tour of the facility. The place is really nice. The staff were very friendly, it was clean and comfortable. The residents were happy and friendly and the room they had available was absolutely perfect for my mother. I was really excited and I asked a lot of questions, all of which were answered by the person conducting the tour. She gave me the number for the financial person to talk to as she had no information regarding that. I called the same day. I was so excited to get my mother moved in. The financial person called me back and dropped the HUGE bombshell that they only accept private pay for two years before they will take medicaid!! Over $5,000 a month for two years. I was completely stunned. I had specifically asked about the insurance and I was told that they do accept Medicaid. This facility is even on a list from Rocky Mountain Pace that accepts Medicaid. It was a total waste of my time and I just wanted to warn people that it's private pay only for two years. My mother may not even live that long. This should be made plain either on their website or on the literature the tour guide gives you. Nobody said a single word about that insane private pay cost until after the tour, and after I had already decided it was perfect for my mother. I am horribly disappointed and I would hate for anyone else to have to go through all that only to be told that they won't take your Insurance after all.

Brookdale has done a wonderful job securing the facility for my mom who was and is dealing with dementia and Alzheimer's. She had been to facilities before but walked out and the safety concerns were of deep concern. At this facility she hasn't walked out once and when we go to see her we are always blessed by the staff who greed us. I appreciate them and I understand the challenges they have to deal with both night and day. They deserve to be respected monetarily and professionally. As a family we love them and hope that they will be blessed for their deep devotion and service to a matriarch in our family
