At Asheville Overlook, we’re here to handle the cooking, cleaning and home maintenance so you can focus on exploring your passions, trying new hobbies, and having fun. Our Asheville, North Carolina assisted living community is a tranquil place to call home, surrounded by area parks and plenty of scenic views.
With assisted living, our specially-trained staff will help with cooking, cleaning and home maintenance. We’ll arrange transportation for any off-site excursions or errands, and we’ll even do your laundry. And our restaurant-style dining room will serve you multiple course daily meals, like baked lemon chicken and savory Swiss steak. This will give you more time to make it to yoga, unwind during happy hour or attend your weekly book club. And while you’re off living your best life, you can take comfort in knowing that our staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency.
As a resident, you’ll be able to choose your own apartment from a variety of floor plans. Each one comes with a spacious living area and can be customized to meet your decorating preferences. And great news! We’re pet-friendly, so your furry friend can move in as well. You’ll love relaxing for some music around the piano, bird watching from the outdoor patio and staying active in the fitness area. Additional amenities include scenic walking paths, a beauty salon and barbershop, a game room and an outdoor garden courtyard.
And we have plenty of activities to keep you busy. Attend a weekly devotional service, try your hand at some brain games or indulge with Milkshake Monday! And since we’re so close to nature, there are plenty of opportunities for fishing, hiking, and biking excursions or visiting local attractions like the Biltmore Estate, art galleries and local farm-to-table cafes.

My father has been at Asheville Overlook for three weeks and so far he has been doing well! He loves the food and he enjoys socializing with the other residents. I visited him over this last weekend and everyone I met was kind and seemed comfortable there. His room and facilities are clean and updated. The staff communicates well and are available for me to ask questions or check in, even though I live far away! We are looking forward to more good experiences there.

From the very beginning, Kelley at Brook dale made us feel welcomed, supported, and truly cared for. she walked us through every step of the process with patience and kindness, answering all of our questions and making sure we felt confident in our decisions.
