Arbor Terrace Asheville

We visited Arbor Terrace while exploring options for our mom and were very impressed. It felt warm and inviting from the moment we walked in — more like a comfortable apartment setting than a traditional assisted living facility. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the staff we met were friendly and compassionate. The residents all seemed happy and engaged. We left feeling confident that this would be a wonderful place for our mom.

If I weren’t there just for a tour and info gathering for my family member, I would’ve signed myself up for Assisted Living at Arbor Terrace! From beginning to end, and top to bottom, this community seems to have it all! Cathy offered up a thorough & informative tour of the warm, clean & well-appointed communal and personal spaces, along with a walk outdoors in the gardens. Food menu looked nutritious and delicious, activities roster seemed robust and the residents were milling about and exuded good energy. These residents appeared happy & well-cared for. Double thumbs up!!!

My mother has been living in Arbor's Evergreen (Memory Care) residence for 3 months and we are very grateful for the excellent care she has received. She moved here after 6 years in Assisted Living at another Asheville facility. We were wary of Arbor's claims of service because we had disappointing experiences with the previous place. We have been so very pleased that Arbor has exceeded our expectations and provided wonderful and caring assistance. What is truly remarkable about Arbor is the staff at all levels. They are positive, caring and provide that extra warmth every family hopes their loved one will receive. Arbor's staff has provided support and guidance with every step of this process. Most of all, now that Mom is settled and comfortable, we are glad and confident that she is in the best living environment we could hope for given the circumstances.

I was so anxious and stressed about moving my mom from her longtime home in Florida into memory care here in Asheville. My family and I toured several facilities in the area and settled on Arbor Terrace. The staff have been incredible in helping my mom transition into this next phase of her life. We opted for a bigger apartment, and it is just fantastic. The room is kept clean; my mom's laundry is done; and they serve excellent food and snacks to keep her happy. It is a difficult time, and memory care is a challenge, but the staff at Arbor Terrace have made this transition as seamless as it could be. I can rest easy at night knowing she is well-taken care of.
