Arbor Terrace Asheville

I came to Arbor Terrace with my daughter and son and met with Cathy who was warm and welcoming. She sat with us and answered all of our questions with a genuine honesty and caring. We took the tour with her and was delighted to meet staff and those living there and welcomed their positive comments. I was very happy to see the options that are available. It is a welcoming and warm environment. Thank you Cathy for your help in making a very hard decision.

My mother and I have toured Arbor Terrace twice as our family progresses through this daunting process of choosing assisted living for my father. Cathy is a perfect fit for welcoming and gently guiding my mother through this journey. The facility is lovely, providing a quiet, warm, homey feel. We were very impressed with the resident rooms and personable staff.

In the beginning, my loved one was sad and a bit angry at the idea of moving to assisted living. She has been at Arbor Terrace now for going on two weeks. When I stop in to see her, she is either going to an activity or coming from one, and has a glow with a big smile! She is truly enjoying herself. This was a woman who was not social in the slightest sense! I believe her transition is the result of a kind and caring staff, and the coordinators who know exactly how to interact with this community of residents. They are treated like human beings and gentle souls, as that is how we should all be treated; with respect and kindness. I no longer have to worry about the day today day things, the small things, or the big things. I am so happy we found this residence. I am so grateful for the peace of mind that has been restored after a journey of caregiving. I highly recommend Arbor Terrace and their incredible staff of professionals. Don't wait until your loved one can no longer enjoy new things and make new friends in an environment that truly is nourishment to the mind and body. I have loved watching my loved one blossom into a person who appears to have a new life filled with excitement. Her apartment is lovely and comfortable and she relishes the attention she gets on a daily basis. It's truly a treasure.

I toured Arbor Terrace as a potential place for my family and was pleased to see that there are three different room sizes—what Cathy so lovingly referred to as “apartments”—to meet your family’s needs. Upon meeting Cathy, you immediately see that she truly loves the work she does and knows each resident by name. She took more than enough time to listen to my story and share her expertise, helping me make the best decision for my loved one. She made me feel as though I was talking with a family friend.
