My mother is 96 years old and came to Brickmont in April,2025. She was originally in the assisted living room upstairs and now is in memory care. I am extremely happy with the memory care unit run by Kay. She is absolutely wonderful!!! Kay is always loving and kind and comes up with many activities!! The food was not good when my mother came in April but thanks to the new director Evelyn Watkins, it is excellent now! Evelyn has worked hard to improve so much! She brought in a chef that produces yummy food and it is so noticeable! The staff that works with my mother have been so kind!! Janet, Stanley, Stephen, Kinya(sp?), Ruth, Jennifer are faces I see more often when I visit during the day but the night staff are also very kind. Unfortunately I don’t know many names on the night shift. (I hope I didn’t leave out anyone). Tapestry hospice has been very helpful and a newer CNA Kaile and nurse Antonia are so appreciated by me. Caroline at the front desk is always sweet as is Evette and Lauren who sings beautifully. The facility is very clean and the all inclusive services of laundry and housekeeping is excellent! I was very concerned initially about memory care but I now know that my mother is being well cared for!

Peace of Mind and Exceptional Care Deciding to move my dad into assisted living was one of the hardest things my sister and I have ever done. We were distraught and heartbroken, but the team at Brickmont at Woodstock saw our pain and went above and beyond to comfort us. They truly went the extra mile when they helped transition my dad from one apartment to another. They handled the move with such care and effort, making sure he was settled and comfortable, which took a huge weight off our shoulders. From the Director to the maintenance and cleaning crews, it is clear that everyone works with genuine love. My dad is a very picky eater, but he is actually enjoying the food and even trying new dishes! For the first time in a long time, my sister and I have total peace of mind knowing he is loved and truly 'at home.' If you want a place that cares for the person and the family, Brickmont is it.

We had to move fast to get my Mom and Dad moved in. We toured the facility on Tuesday and they moved in Friday. Everyone was great in helping us get everything taken care of, especially Ginger Laprise. She went above and beyond. The staff is so accommodating and helpful. Mom did not like what was for dinner, so the chef came out and asked her what she would like. Mom told him a grilled cheese sandwich and he said no problem. I am very happy with Brickmont in Woodstock, GA.

We just moved my FIL to assisted living from Holbrook and so far has not been a great experience. There was no orientation or proper onboarding for him. His first week there...the ovens broke and his meal was served on paper plates. Then the water main broke and he couldn't shower. Dinner time is strictly btw 5-6 pm however you need to be there strictly at 5pm. And the food is terrible. At this age having a good meal is everything. For the price they can afford a chef and good food. They should make the residents look forward to meal time. We are regretting our decision.
