After visiting several facilities, when I walked into Merrill Gardens, I knew I had found "home". I have been here two years and still love it. Mickie, the general manager, and her staff makes sure we have a clean and well run facility. Her door is always open to all residents. Sarah's care team is well trained, caring, and always willing to help. Annette in activities makes sure we always have fun things to do that everyone can participate in. The dining room is a plus. Food from 7-7 with friendly and efficient servers. The residents are like a large, caring family and a this is a great place to make forever friends.

Merrill Gardens is a premier, senior living facility nestled beautifully within Woodstock Georgia. It's a community of residents, caregivers and staff that work very closely with each other. And the outcome is a very satisfied and happy group of people. It's a wonderful choice if you're looking for a home for a loved one in that part of town. But don't take my word for it, ask anyone who lives there.

I have been going to Merrill gardens as a third-party provider since they opened their doors. I’m in and out of so many local communities in my profession and I’m very big on first impressions.. Merrill gardens always makes you feel warm and welcome! From the residents you will pass sitting outside by the fireplace to sweet Minnie who always greets you with a huge smile! Residents are all over - most do not seem to be confined to their rooms. There always seems to be some kind of fun activity going on. Both the Executive Director and the Wellness Nurse treat their residents like family and they really really care. You would hope it would be like this at every community, but unfortunately that’s just not the case. A good team will make or break a community!

I have been a resident for several years, and I have been so happy. Our two bedroom apartment was the perfect size, and it made the downsizing process much easier. Now I live in a one bedroom apartment and it is great too. Our activities are outstanding and there is something happening all the time. We have a beautiful courtyard where we have events and it’s so relaxing to just visit with friends.
