We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Robin (Robby) who cares for our 101-year-old grandma. From the very beginning, she has treated her with such tenderness, dignity, and genuine compassion. At this stage of life, comfort and trust mean everything, and she gives both so effortlessly. She doesn’t just do her job, she cares. She speaks to my grandma with patience, respect, and kindness. She pays attention to the little things. She makes sure she’s comfortable, clean, and peaceful. And just as importantly, she reassures our family. We trust her completely, and that kind of trust is priceless when it comes to someone you love so deeply. It takes a special kind of person to care for someone who is 101 years old. It requires heart, gentleness, strength, and empathy, and she has all of it. Our family is so grateful for her presence during this time. This facility is incredibly lucky to have her. She deserves recognition, appreciation, and every good thing that comes her way.

My mother has dementia and is not capable of independently caring for herself. Despite this, the facility has failed to provide even the most basic required care. For over one year, staff have not bathed her, do not brush her teeth, and do not groom her hair. Her clothing and bedding are not regularly changed, leaving her in unclean and undignified conditions. Her room is routinely left in an unsanitary and hazardous state. Staff leave rotten and curdled milk in cups in her room, which my mother has consumed. Garbage, old food containers, and filth are left throughout her living space, and housekeeping and infection control are clearly inadequate. Staff fail to provide basic toileting supplies. Even though toilet paper is available at the nurses’ station, it is often not brought to her room. As a result, my mother has been forced to use towels as toilet paper, which is degrading, unsafe, and unacceptable. Meal service is also grossly inadequate. Staff drop off meals in Styrofoam containers and immediately leave. My mother is unable to cut her food due to dementia, and no assistance or supervision is provided during meals. Because she cannot manage the food, she often throws it away and does not eat, placing her at risk for malnutrition, dehydration, and choking. Despite her known cognitive impairment, staff provide little to no supervision and treat her as though she can safely care for herself, which she cannot. These are not isolated incidents but demonstrate a long-term pattern of neglect.

The residents are neglected here. Family members should not have to come in to rotting food, soiled towels and piles of garbage. Complaints have been made multiple times with no resolve. If you don’t have to DO NOT send your loved ones here.
