By far one of the most concerning management environments I have ever observed, and I say that from a place of genuine concern for resident safety and care. If you are considering placing a loved one at Bickford, I strongly encourage you to do thorough research and ask detailed questions before making any decisions. While the facility presents a clean and visually appealing environment, the reality behind the scenes appears significantly more concerning. Families are paying thousands of dollars each month with the expectation of quality care, safety, communication, and dignity for their loved ones. From what I observed, there is a serious disconnect between what is being charged and the level of care being delivered. Staff, particularly CNAs, appeared extremely overworked and under-supported, while management seemed more focused on appearance and operations than addressing ongoing concerns. There were repeated situations involving resident supervision and safety that raised serious concern, including instances where residents appeared to be inadequately monitored for their level of care needs. For a facility responsible for vulnerable individuals, this raises serious questions about staffing levels, training, and oversight. Additionally, attempts to escalate concerns through formal channels such as management, HR, and support systems did not appear to lead to meaningful resolution or visible change. Overall, while the facility may present itself as polished and well-maintained, the operational reality observed raises significant concerns about staffing, accountability, and resident care standards. Families deserve transparency, proper care, and confidence that their loved ones are safe and respected. Based on what was observed, those expectations do not appear to be consistently met.

If i could give them a 0 stars i would. If you love your family member's, i REPEAT, DO NOT bring them here!! They have issues with bed bugs AND roaches all over in their memory unit. They DO NOT know how to control their staff, very lazy and can barely find anyone. The place is always dirty with trash and gunk stuck to the walls, bathrooms are never clean. My own families room is never up kept, sad to have to ask for her room to be cleaned. I never see management out and helping their staff on the floor! Sadly this place is poorly ran with management who only care about themselves and the company name. Your loved ones will NOT be happy here, they WILL DIE!

Bickford always has fun activities going on with attentive staff and their building always looks welcoming and homey. Their residents are clean and happy! Bickford is a great place to be!

Every time I visit Bickford the residents are having fun, heading out for fun or engaging with outside entertainment. It is a comfortable and safe community where residents have their lives enriched everyday.
