Run , don't walk . Do not trust your loved ones care to The Bickford, do not be fooled by the decor and beauty of the building. Our family selected The Bickford to care for mom after she suffered a stroke and needed care. We had looked at other assisted living establishments and felt that single floor living would the best option and The Bickford looked beautiful. Once getting mom settled , it became apparent that the staff and administrators did not put the patients first. Mom has food allergies ( pineapple for one.) She was served mixed fruit which contained pineapple. There were medication errors , including not having her meds. Today we found out that someone on the staff has been renting Xrated movies on her Cox tv account , this means while she is out of her locked room , staff are letting themselves in and charging porn to her account. This place has been a hugh disappointment to say the least. We are moving our 90 year old mother to the Vero .
