Benedictine The Gardens is an assisted living community where residents live well and with purpose. Our campus is 25 minutes from downtown Minneapolis in beautiful Shakopee and adjacent to St. Francis Regional Medical Center. We offer assisted living, rehabilitation, and skilled nursing services.

I am torn because the rehab rooms were ok but i have never shared a room with a stranger for weeks at a time. Was not use to someone who when there TV was on played it at a loud who stayed up half the night and kept bright lights on . So I gave up using my tv because I could not hear my tv. The Bathrooms were not very clean at all.

My wife spent some time at St Gertrudes for Physical and Occupational therapy. The staff were professional and caring. The food was well prepared and tasty. The room was bright and cheerful. Nothing but good to say about the facility. It was a pleasant experience overall.

To date, I have only had telephone calls with various people at St Gertrude’s. All of these calls have been very helpful and have solved everything they needed so far. This was an unexpected circumstance so I was very pleased, as Mary Baker’s Power of Attorney, to be able to answer their questions and also have my questions answered satisfactorily.

Angela H. was very helpful on our first night checking in, reviewing all of the paperwork with us in a very thorough and professional manner. The staff was very friendly and the nurse manager was very caring and kind at discharge, going the extra mile for our family.
