Bella Vista Senior Living

I took a family to tour Bella Vista last week and was so impressed with this beautiful community and our tour guide, Sheri who is the Assistant ED. She has a passion for our seniors, a great personality, and excellent follow up. They have approximately 40 clubs in addition to activities and outings they do. They have an extensive library and an entire room dedicated to jigsaw puzzles. The community is very clean and the residents and staff are welcoming and very friendly. They are undergoing some remodeling and the community is nice and bright. I love that the apartments are comfortable, have a nice size balcony, and some different kitchen options. They offer a la carte care services for residents in independent living so they can reside in their apartments as long as possible before moving into assisted living. I highly recommend this beautiful community. I'm looking forward to visiting my client once she moves in.

I have toured a lot of senior living facilities,but Im extremely impressed with Bella Vista. What impressed me is how engaged the residents are with each other and with the 45 clubs that cater to their interests. The leadership team at Bella Vista, in particular Sheri Simpson, focuses their efforts on the needs and well being of the residents,by finding many ways to provide a happy, inclusive environment for the residents. One conversation with Sheri, convinced me that they would give my brother a great living experience at Bella Vista. He will move in this week!

The level of genuine care demonstrated by Bella Vista’s leadership manifests in the culture of the facility, its cleanliness and the responsiveness of the staff. There is not a staff person there who my family has not felt was personally engaged in accommodating the residents. At the risk of neglecting to name others who should also be recognized, I have to give a shout out to Adriana, Sheri and Teri for their professionalism and compassion. We placed my 91 year old mother in an independent living apartment there four months ago following the sudden death of her husband of nearly 70 years. Her son had died less than a week earlier at Christmas. My mother has a fair degree of dementia and could not live alone. There had been no preparation for my mother to move into senior living and she was resistant to making the move. However, the Bella Vista team was most welcoming during one of the lowest moments in my mother’s life and helped her rapidly integrate into the Bella Vista community. My mother loves her apartment and frequently comments about how friendly everyone is. I am so grateful that we found Bella Vista for my mother.

My mother has lived here for 5 years and loves it! She is so happy here which makes me happy because I live 1900 miles away and I know ow that she is safe and cared for. This is independent living and also has assisted living. Rent includes everything except tv (and 3 meals a day!). The staff is super friendly, knows everyone by name and so helpful. My mom has a community of friends and does many of the activities that BV offers. The place is like a big family. Every room has a balcony. I highly recommend Bella Vista.
