I have been familiar with Friendship Village off and on for about 15 years, but it had been a while since I visited. Tonight I stopped in and I was blown away with the ability for the community to make the changes it has, yet still maintain the warm and welcoming environment it has become known for! After a quick stop at the Marketing office, my wife and I decided we would try out the Starfire Restaurant and Rooftop Brewery, since we heard that one of their brews just won a Phoenix magazine award. We decided to sit at the bar, and Joseph and Micheala treated us like gold! The selection of brews was fantastic (and delicious) and we happened to visit on prime rib night, which is a double win! I chose the prime rib, which was juicy and perfect, and my wife went with the salmon. Both of us agreed that the "Forget-Me-Not" was our drink of choice. All in all it was a fantastic experience, and Fabio has a great team there that makes him look good. I already knew they took wonderful care of their residents, but the amenities are the icing on the cake!

As a future resident, I am impressed and heartened at the thorough introduction to FVT from administration, staff and residents. We feel very welcome, and are already sampling the excellent dining, fitness center, thought provoking educational groups and inspiring art center.

I've lived here for 10 years, and enjoyed it immensly. The amenities are being added and improved continuously. The culture of this village is very friendly and welcoming. There are a large variety of classes and activities available, but if a person wants peace and quiet, that is also available. The staff is great, and there seems to be little turn-over. The Kiwanis club recently hosted the annual Kentucky Derby party. Please see the incuded photos.

My parents live there. My aunt is in the long term care at the healthcare center.. they changed cable service at the healthcare center with no notice.. Imagine my 84 year old aunt, whose bedridden, lives for D-Back baseball, now not having access to the games, and trying to navigate a new remote control. Garbage.. they have money to build new buildings, but can't keep Cox cable the same? Do not go here. Mirabella at University and Mill has gotta be better than this.
