I've lived here for 10 years, and enjoyed it immensly. The amenities are being added and improved continuously. The culture of this village is very friendly and welcoming. There are a large variety of classes and activities available, but if a person wants peace and quiet, that is also available. The staff is great, and there seems to be little turn-over. The Kiwanis club recently hosted the annual Kentucky Derby party. Please see the incuded photos.

Don and I selected FVT after 2 years of searching for a CCRC with multiple art studios, not one craft room. Thank God we kept looking. FVT has 6 professional studios -- weaving, fiber arts, wood & metal, painting, jewelry, and ceramics, plus room for others to pursue their interests. Having 24-hour access is incredible. And, all of these Makers have formed a coalition to encourage collaboration, learn new skills, and showcase our work. All in all, the best decision we have made!

My mother has been a life-care resident of Friendship Village for over 15 years. She lived an full, active, sociable and very happy life in a cottage for most of those years before moving to Assisted Living and now to the Health Care center. At every stage she has had an excellent range of services and care which meet her needs. The staff team, in every capacity, are extremely professional, friendly and attentive. I cannot praise them highly enough for the vibrant and caring environment they create.

I have heard nothing but positive things about Friendship Village Tempe since I moved to Arizona 42 years ago. When I heard that a fellow retiree from Tempe Public Library had moved here, I started thinking about what I wanted and needed at this stage of my life. I made an appointment with Cody to show me around, and I went home and immediately started making plans to move here. The marketing and move-in staff helped me with the planning, and the move went as smoothly as possible. I've been in my new apartment for only a few days now and will be unpacking and organizing for at least a few more, but it's clear that this was the best decision I could have made for my future. The community is convenient and beautiful. The facilities are pleasant and spotless. The opportunities for recreation, entertainment, and socializing are almost overwhelmingly numerous. There is a variety of dining venues and lounges, and the food is excellent; I doubt there is a retirement community that has better food or selection. The staff are amazing and will do everything in their power to help you and make sure you love it here. Residents are friendly and eager to welcome you and help you settle in. I've met more people already than I can possibly remember, and not a single person has had anything but positive things to say about this community.
